Corrosion is the biggest risk. If the water isn't pure you might find that things go to hell over time. This happened with my old notebook. A tiny splash of coffee got onto the board and months later it was buggered.

Well, the faster it dries, the less risk of corrosion. Low-level bake will work.
Of course, the left-over salts may be an issue...
