Well worth the subscription. It is the best content they have ever done. The realization of what they just witnessed is sublime.

So, last night I dreamt that I was on some kind of tour bus looking thing and Brad was there trying to explain some complicated thing to me. I don't remember what, but it was complicated sounding. If I am honest I wish that they would drop this Premium nonsense. I can understand why in the past through WM that they needed more funding, but not so much now.
With the content on the site being slow surely it would be best to concentrate on stuff for all community members? The Bombcast is good, and I like quick looks but the bread and butter of any gaming site is a good solid news feed, and consistent reviews.
This isn't a knock as I like the site.

These days I listen to the bombcast mostly. I might look at a quick look if the game interests me but that's about it.

Nope, I think the PSO2 TNT has been cancelled because of server maintenance. Not sure what they'll be playing instead.
I find that I don't care much at all about reviews and the news feed and it's just quick looks, some of the premium videos and the podcast that I care about.

Only if you want to get lost in the shuffle between the millions of other websites that already have that covered and are way too samey already. GB has created a niche that goes way beyond written reviews and re-written press releases.
100 percent nonsense.
If that's all you want get a Gamespot or Kotaku news feed. Giant Bomb is primarily about the podcast and video content.

And as has been said reviews and news are not what GiantBomb is about, if it were then CBSi probably wouldn't have bought them.

I almost got a premium sub a few weeks ago, but I found I had to pay a significant amount extra for shipping a shirt I don't want that comes with the Paypal sub. Contacted their support twice about possibly getting it without the shirt, but no response. Really need to get a cc.
Looking forward to TNT. PSO2 would've been great though.

It was supposed to be Phantasy Star Online 2, but they're apparently doing a 27 hour maintenance on that game that isn't supposed to end until like 10 pacific time tonight. So I have no idea what they're doing.

Don't think they've said. It was originally going to be PSO2, but apparently there's server maintenance planned for the time the TNT would be happening.

Meh. Paradise is one of my favorite games of the generation, but I doubt it'll make for an interesting TNT. I bet we'll see Jeff crash a lot.

The same thing happened a lot in Final Fantasy XI. The servers were all located in Japan, so the maintenance would always happen at the worst possible times for anyone playing in the US, like 6:00-9:00pm.

I believe Magicka is Windows only so unless they all have boot camp and windows installed on their MacBook Airs, I think we're out of luck unfortunately.

There is actually an audience for tablet gaming, though.
Over the shoulder stuff isn't great but they really should just do it anyway, it's better than no coverage at all. I don't recall having any issues with watching those Vita launch games and watching Skulls on the tablet is fine as well. It's a bigger screen, I know, but even still.
That is true mate. Being owned by such a big organisation means that they will have to generate money.
As I said in my previous post it wasn't a dig as I like the site, and the guys. I wish them all the success, just wish there was a little more structure.
