Game and Gamestation probably will, but they always charge the most (by a huge margin, too), and their trade-in prices for systems are a joke, even for promotions like this. Trading in your old 3DS will probably bring the price down to only a little bit less than what you'd pay elsewhere without having to trade anything in.

Sell your 3DS on eBay, or to a friend, and just use that money to buy your XL from wherever you want. You'll save a lot more.
 
Hello, i ordered last week Castlevania Lords of Shadow for the PS3 on zavvi; it has an "usually dispatched within a week" status on the product page and it's been given an "awaiting stock pick" status on the order page. Fact is that everything is in this state from about ten days now, nothing changing; what should i expect in your experience?

i got my 13.50 copy of ratchet and clank HD trilogy... happy ..although it took its time... may complain as to why i did not get it on release day!

It looks like the lowest it's ever been on Steam is £14.99 for the game and 17.49 for the game + dlc, which this includes. This was in May. So I'd say it certainly won't go lower than £10 in the Steam sale and is a good deal even if you don't care about the dlc. I'm tempted, but I don't have Brotherhood yet...
 
Not so much of a bargain perhaps, but a heads up for UKGAF...

The first pre-order spot for the Collector's Edition of Ni No Kuni has appeared, with the banned site currently offering it for a fairly respectable £69.85 (claiming an RRP of £79.99).

Didn't think that seemed too bad considering the $99.99 price-point via the NAMCO store in the US.

This really depends on if you want a custom build or a pre-built system. I had a little browse on PC specialist and Dino PC last night.

It's definitely worth checking out the "I need a new PC 2012" gaf thread too for potential builds and advice.

I had one custom built by Computer Planet a while ago - it had some problems (the front USBs don't work), but apart from that is working fine and the rest of it was built well from what I can see. Still annoying though.

However I know a couple of others who have ordered from them and been perfectly happy and had no problems. They were also a bit cheaper than competing sites when I ordered mine.

I can personally recommend Dino PC having just bought a PC from there.

For £650 I got

i5
4GB RAM
AMD 7850 2GB

and the usual gubbins, like HDD, Windows 7 etc etc. It only arrived yesterday so I haven't had chance to test it properly but I can max most games like Skyrim, and Battlefield (almost but not quite).

Dino came out the cheapest on the web by a long mile, I struggled to find somewhere cheaper for a custom build. The only downside I would say is it took 2 and a half weeks to arrive.

Are the front USB ports USB 3.0 with no internal USB 3.0 connectors on the motherboard? That's why I can't connect one of my front USB ports.
 
I guess that explains why I haven't received my Ratchet from Asda yet: HDNL. "02/07/2012 14:00:00 CUSTOMER The parcel has been delivered". Has it bollocks.
 
French GAF, I think I've gottent the best deal in a while (for me at least) : Metroid Prime Trilogy Wii Collector Edition for 5€, look well in your local Boulanger retail stores.
 
I guess zavvi got Asura's Wrath back in stock because they finally charged me for it.
 
 
How quickly before release date should Amazon orders be dispatched and payment taken?

Got Theatrythm on pre-order (I never usually pre-order anything) which releases on Friday, I assume they'll take the money and dispatch tomorrow?
