Would you be content with gaming the rest of your life with only your current library/backlog?

A backlog is exactly what it should be.

A graveyard for games that you buy but don't grab your fancy. If they were not good enough to keep you engaged when you bought them they will not be any better now.

You don't ever go back into the backlog...that would be admitting defeat.

Content? No. I do want new experiences and despite the AAA bs, I get plenty of new games from outside that sphere. But still, I have over 1k games so I'd probably be ok.

But a game you have not played would be a new experience lol I have not touched a massive majority of my library either at all, or in any meaningful way.
 
Yes. I look at my backlog more as a library I can pick and choose from depending on my mood.

I also have a 1tb card full of retro roms.
