Shoplifting manga in Japan: serious business.
Police in Miyagi Prefecture arrested three male suspects on Monday for allegedly stealing 98 volumes of manga, and over 20 police cars and at least one helicopter were dispatched for the chase. 24-year-old part-time worker Hirotaka Hirayama from Shiogama City, 24-year-old unemployed Yūki Moriyama from Tagajo City, and 26-year-old unemployed Yutaka Kobayashi from Tagajo are accused of stealing manga volumes worth 56,000 yen (about US$700) from a video rental store in Sendai City at around 2:20 p.m.

According to the police, the three fled in Moriyama's small car at high speeds and repeatedly ignored traffic signals. The police pursued the suspects in over 20 cars and at least one helicopter. After about 40 minutes, the suspects were forced to stop in Sendai's Miyagino district near the Sendai Bay due to a punctured tire. Although the suspect's car brushed past multiple cars, there were no injuries.

Moriyama reportedly denied the charges and any knowledge of the allegations. However, the other two suspects reportedly admitted to the charges.

Manga's really small. If there are 3 guys and a car involved, 98 volumes isn't really that much at all. It's not "put it in my pocket" shoplifting, but it's still shoplifting.
 
I remember Eagle. My local library had it.

It was so american I could feel the surplus trickling down to the plebs as I read it.

This series is pretty awesome. Demon usage is cool, Akutabe is awesome, I'm liking the direction that Sakuma is going, it's a funny series.

Normal boy at an mostly all girls school, who all happen to be yankees. Not bad action, there's comedy and the twist at the end of the chapter wasn't bad. Standard, but the art is nice so I'll probably keep following it.

I'd be excited about Orochimaru coming back, but we all know he's going to get trolled by Madara to complete the trifecta of him getting owned by Uchiha.

Really hope that plot scroll isn't something really stupid, like a random ass god like power up for sasuke so he has some sort of reasonable chance at fighting naruto.

Where did you get that? Shisui gave his last eye to Itachi who said he died. Itachi also said that Shisui loved the village as much as he did so he became a double agent too. It's more likely that it's Madara's younger brother who's Tobi. As for Orochimaru, remember that a single snake escaped when Sasuke killed Orochimaru's body?

Show not tell, they could have just shown itachi but it showed shisui then sasuke goes "ahhh he's still around then"

Meaning Shisui didn't die, he just doesn't have his eyes. It's easy enough to get an eye back it wont be rejected, and he can have the upgraded eyehax thing because he's got the bloodline.

Then, sasuke looks at the scroll and goes woah, orochimaru is still alive i need to talk to him.

A likely situation is that orochimaru is using the body of shisui, since he couldn't do that with sasuke (remember he wanted him as a vassal eons ago?)

that snake got burned by the Amaterasu nearby the battlefield.

and yeah, i'm also in the camp of Tobi = Madara's brother (the gloves, man...)

this feels kinda iffy. the pacing is brisk but the way it tacks on more and more mysteries feels like a disappointment waiting to happen.

also the main duo's relationship with one's sister feels likes something out of Guilty Crown. Shu~

So Doflamingo is really behind everything this time.
Pieces are coming together nicely and this arc still has a while to go .
I also love how Robin was nostalgic about Smoker and Luffy being in a cage.

I agree, Franky being asleep seems kinda like a.. "if he woke up that cage would be dead"-sort of thing.

Oh man, I forgot how complex the actual plot was in Hayate no Gotoku, with Athena and the Power of Royalty and all that. If it's about to enter the picture again there's a lot to refresh myself on.
