I remember when I watched the last Resident Evil movie this one guy kept yelling fucking lines from the first game at the screen.

That was the first R-rated movie I watched in a theater.

This week, there was a fucking infant in the theater when I watched Ted.

Man, I might just wait for this movie to come out on video.

Just for this, I will applaud every scene that includes either Freeman, Bale, Hardy, Hathaway, Oldman or Caine.

When I made the horrible mistake of watching Batman Begins on a domed Imax screen, the idiot next to me lost his shit at Morgan Freeman's "memo" line. Not only was he convulsing next to me but he also pointed at Morgan while he was laughing (Because of the nature of the shitty domed Imax, his arm and hand somehow blocked my entire view of the screen).

I just remember it being the most forced shit I've ever seen and it's the only thing I remember about that movie.

Seriously, that line didn't warrant a fraction of that response.

I wasn't sure how to phrase that. I was going to say dvd, but then there's a lot more options than just dvd. So I thought 'home video' or just 'video' would somehow encompass all of them. I didn't mean VHS, although if I saw TDKR on VHS at a store, I'd probably buy it.

same here, everyone was just sitting there, letting what they have just witnessed sink in. After a few minutes, you could hear the first whispers, after 20 minutes, everyone was talking to everyone.

Luckily here in the UK almost everytime I've been to the cinema or IMAX the crowd were silent. Hardly anyone utters a single word until the film is over, no one applauds or claps and when the movie is over everyone just talks about what they've experienced. It's pretty much perfect.

I go and used to go a ton to the movies (NYC). I have rarely ever had a bad movie experience due to the audience.

Crappy movies? Check
Being late and having crappy seats? Check


But people talking too loud, too much, or clapping? Nope. And I don't mind the clapping at the end of movies. Its fun if the movie was great.

The only time I had a terrible experience was just recently with the Hunger Games. These two couples came in together and were sitting next to me and the wifey. The dudes obviously didn't want to be there and couldn't refrain from talking and joking the whole time which would be fine if it was in a low voice but they were so damn loud that people 2-3 rows in front of us had to turn around and tell them to shut up.
 
I always manage to sit by someone that can't keep their hands off of the popcorn / drinks and manages to perform impressive drum solos on said items at various intervals of the movie.
 
TDK's ending definitely had me with my jaw wide open, stunned at what I saw. Mainly because the final monologue, plus the satisfying yet bitter sweet conclusion to what had happened, leading to it.

Even BB fans can't deny this shit. BB had a crowd-pleasing typical happy ending vs. TDK's tragic ending.

TDKR will probably be closer to BB than TDK, I'm guessing.

One of the main reasons why TDK is such an amazing movie. TDKR picking up right after TDK is going to be so epic!
 
I'm just wondering if it's 8 years later, and the movie starts, or if the 8 years later is after a point in the movie.

I keep coming back to grey sideburns popping up randomly on Bruce.

Seems interesting enough to see how Gotham develops immediatly after Batman is painted as a villain and how those developments eventually lead to Bane, Catwoman, and the resurrection of the goddamn Batman.
