"The Dark Knight Rises makes Laurence of Arabia look like Superman IV"
Please don't clap at a screen. Who are you clapping for?
That was the first R-rated movie I watched in a theater.Man I hate movie audiences.
I remember when I watched the last Resident Evil movie this one guy kept yelling fucking lines from the first game at the screen.
.
Oh wait that was me.
Can I just say that if any of you here are planning to applaud at the end of the movie, please reconsider.
Please don't do it.

The projectionist?

Just for this, I will applaud every scene that includes either Freeman, Bale, Hardy, Hathaway, Oldman or Caine.

This week, there was a fucking infant in the theater when I watched Ted.
Man, I might just wait for this movie to come out on video.
and what the hell is a video?
I wasn't sure how to phrase that. I was going to say dvd, but then there's a lot more options than just dvd. So I thought 'home video' or just 'video' would somehow encompass all of them. I didn't mean VHS, although if I saw TDKR on VHS at a store, I'd probably buy it.
If TDKR is great, then dammit, I'm going to applaud and I'm going to enjoy doing so. ;(
I applauded at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2.

I guess my reaction will be the same as TDK, just being stunned quite speechless
but this time may be I will applaud also

The entire theater erupted when that film ended. It was a fantastic way to end dark knight.
Gordon "He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight."
THE DARK KNIGHT
::theater cheers::
Also, I've never seen a sold out showing stay during the credits (that didn't have an additional scene after the credits)
When I made the horrible mistake of watching Batman Begins on a domed Imax screen, the idiot next to me lost his shit at Morgan Freeman's "memo" line. Not only was he convulsing next to me but he also pointed at Morgan while he was laughing (Because of the nature of the shitty domed Imax, his arm and hand somehow blocked my entire view of the screen).
I just remember it being the most forced shit I've ever seen and it's the only thing I remember about that movie.
Seriously, that line didn't warrant a fraction of that response.
Fucking Batman.
Luckily here in the UK almost everytime I've been to the cinema or IMAX the crowd were silent. Hardly anyone utters a single word until the film is over, no one applauds or claps and when the movie is over everyone just talks about what they've experienced. It's pretty much perfect.

TDK's ending definitely had me with my jaw wide open, stunned at what I saw. Mainly because the final monologue, plus the satisfying yet bitter sweet conclusion to what had happened, leading to it.
Even BB fans can't deny this shit. BB had a crowd-pleasing typical happy ending vs. TDK's tragic ending.
TDKR will probably be closer to BB than TDK, I'm guessing.
TDKR picking up right after TDK is going to be so epic!
One of the main reasons why TDK is such an amazing movie. TDKR picking up right after TDK is going to be so epic!
It is set 8 years after TDK isn't it?
I'm just wondering if it's 8 years later, and the movie starts, or if the 8 years later is after a point in the movie.
I keep coming back to grey sideburns popping up randomly on Bruce.
Just For BatMen advert!

I thought it picks up where TDK left off and then jumpshifts to 8 years.

Now all I can think of is older Bruce looking in a mirror, putting dye on his hair, practicing the batman voice.
