Probably still Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition. That and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 are the two games with the largest number of entrants and international competition by huge margins, and SSF4:AE is the more popular of the two.

Dude Combo got 4th last year... that's hardly sub par. He also was eliminated by Justin Wong last year so he got his revenge.

Combo's been on a huge losing streak to Justin over the last 6 months too so this is a big one for Combo. I hope he takes the whole thing.

Tournament statistics for Ultimate Marvel in general puts Wesker as twice as much as the next common characters Magneto and Doom. After that is Wolverine then Vergil.

For EVO it has been different but it's still just one tournament.

Actually he didn't. Abegen lost in loser semi of his pool.

It was Jan vs ETR in winner finals, Abegen vs Shady in loser semi.

Jan wins so ETR goes to loser finals.
Shady beats ABegen goes to loser finals.
Shady beats ETR in loser finals of their pool.


Then Shady went on to get DQ for reporting to the wrong pool station.
