It actually happens all the time. The problem is that "twink" can be used to describe a lot of different types of guys.
yeah, you aren't a "big" (as in bulky) guy. You have a similar proption to mine. I am 5'5 (corrected the second digit) and 138 pounds.
I'd say you are in (near) optimal weight, regarding health but you are at a point in which if you want to bulk up, it's going to happen through lots of workout sessions and your muscles getting bigger.(I've been told at least..)

I do like guys that can be labeled as bears but when I hear "This awesome bear party" I think this exclsuive-themed parties are fucking awful. I really would never want to attend a " twink party" or "bear party" or "we-are-the-best-gay-group" party. I want parties where people have a good time, everyone, I even have a thing against all-male gay clubs, I love bars and pubs that are for gays but everyone is welcome and you see straight couples with gay couples drinking and having an awesome time and dacing.

You and me both. I had to spend 3 days with such a sexy guy. Shorts, fitted jeans, underwear just about anything he wore made his ass look even better. My friend was a bit annoyed because he is heavy like me so seeing this guy wear such sexy cute clothes made him a bit pissed that weekend. My friend told me if i kept looking at it then i might as well go for it. I didn't want an awkward situation so i didnt ask him out and i think he likes Indian guys. Unfortunately this is true at clubs, beach parties, bars, online dating websites. Appearance is number one to a lot of people. I have to admit cute Asian guys attract my attention more so than guys that look like me.

It's usually not as exclusive as you're imagining. I know quite a few couples that have lots of friends in or often hang out in the 'bear scene' and with either one or both of them not being especially 'bear-ish'. It's just not an issue. Frankly plenty of people probably wouldn't consider me a bear but I've never actually met anyone in the community that was outright dismissive based on my appearance. I think that's what a 'bear party' really comes down to: it is a place for gay guys to get together that isn't quite as exclusive as the regular community where youth and a low BMI are prized so highly. Plenty of guys get into the bear community not because they like the look of other bears, but because they're older, hairier, or bigger and are tired of interacting with guys who won't give them the time of day. I can't tell you how many profiles there are on bear411 where guys specifically mention that they are into slimmer or younger men. It's an inclusive community rather than an exclusive community, for the most part.
