Hans and James-Newton Howard make a great team.
Shame that James-Newton is best known for Green Lantern now.

Lies. No one saw it, hence no one heard it.
Batman Begins was completed pretty smoothly, but Batman and Robin polluted the franchise completely.
has anyone else noticed how little hype there is surrounding this?
So Hans didn't collaborate with James this time?
Shame.![]()
has anyone else noticed how little hype there is surrounding this? I've yet to see a billboard, ads on telly, etc and people aren't really talking about (this is based on people I work with).
TDK had a lot of hype surrounding it a few weeks before release, this is feeling a lot like TAS with regards to hype/general interest.
That dude that did the Iron Man and Game of Thrones main themes is on there too.
I want to know what he did.
Hans barely collaborated with him on TDK, so no collaboration at all on TDKR isan't surprising.
BB was ~ 50% HZ, 50% JNH
TDK was ~80% HZ, 20% JNH
TDKR is 100% HZ, 0% JNH
For fans of BB soundtrack, you should try and find the 3-disc recording sessions. It's pure bliss.
What is this and why have I never heard of it?

There is no official release. However, it's not a shoddy fan edit either.

The Dark Knight Rises - Official Motion Picture Soundtrack |OT| QUE PASA QUE PASA QUE PASA QUE PASA QUE PASA
Or whatever you guys said ;P
There are tons of TV spots, billboards, etc out there. Guess just not in your area?
I haven't seen much locally here either. Hmm...
Dude, people he works with don't talk about it.
I'll take his word for it over industry tracking and surveys any day of the week.
I'm actually not sure. I'm assuming someone at WB didn't give a fuck one day. Check your top right.
I want to check my top right too!
He's behind you.Yeah, there's virtually none in my local area. A bit surprising as billboards for Battleshits were all over the place, same goes for Dark Shadows...but both this and TAS, I haven't seen any locally.
Nope. Those are the original titles, named as they were written and recorded by the orchestra/artists. The track names on the released OST are in fact not the original names.
I want to check my top right too!
What, you don't like molossus?Well then....kudos to whoever in marketing came up with the brilliant idea of naming the tracks after bat species! Very cool and unique.

There was no sarcasm in my post....
