Isn't Ratchet and Clank out for almost 2 month?

And Jak & Daxter is still £27.

I meant "high as a kite" in comparison to other titles. Almost every title drops after a month or two but the HD collections seem to be staying steady no matter what.

Any website to buy the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter for PC at a good price that delivers worldwide ? I'm hoping to buy one for less than 30 € shipping included.

Ive bought one on Dealextreme.
Not sure if its an official one or not ( couldn't tell from the packaging so pretty nice ) but works like a charm.
Don't bave the link right now but with a quick search it's easy to find.
The price is around 10$ with free worldwide shipping ( but slow ).

It was released on June 29th. That was - if my maths is correct - eleven days ago.

Whoa... Thought it was released in May?! Or was this Jak and Daxter? Damn. Sorry :D

Also i just checked Amazon.de, which i do almost never, but it has Jak and Daxter for 29€, so this is now bought. I guess I'll have to wait for Ratchet a little longer :)

Edit:
J&D has permadropped to £20 on the PSN Store (each game is £11.99). I hope they do a sale/PS Plus the games because I only want the first one :lol

Thanks for the info!

Man, I really like Shopto. Managed to jump on Tales of Vesperia while in stock and the quick dispatch + picture of the package is just amazing.

Quoting myself but I found a new one on Price Minister for 26 € shipping (requiring signature) included.

There is no way it's an official product at that price. I need an official one because the drivers on Mac only work with the Microsoft product.
Will check though, thanks.

EDIT: I can't find it on DealExtreme.

Are there currently any cheaper prices for the 3DS XL than £161.99 on Sainsbury's Entertaiment (with SETENJ12 code)? Have instore prices been announced yet?

Pro-tip for Dutch Gaffers: Select Wii, 3DS, Vita, PS3, 360 games for €55 per 3 games at Media Markt.
(You can mix the platforms up)

I'm still keeping my eyes open, but I pre-ordered with Sainsbury's just in case. I have no idea when the code that reduces the price to £161.99 expires, and they don't charge you until dispatch (I checked their FAQ to make sure), so there's nothing to lose by putting an order in, and cancelling if it turns up cheaper elsewhere before release.

Cheers for the heads up; I've gone and placed my order with them, but if their instore price is better or something cheaper comes up, I'll definitely be cancelling.

I don't think it's official either.
But last I checked, it worked on my mac flawlessly.
Will check again tomorrow to be sure, and report back.
Edit : That's the model

Do HD collections never drop? Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank collections are still high as a kite. :/

Yes they do eventually, if we're just talking PS Store I remember the SotC and Ico collection dropping granted that was to about £15 at some point, and the Sly trilogy went down to about £9-10 depending on whether you had PS plus or not.

Thanks. I can't cancel my order on Price Minister though, so I think I'll go with the official one. I had terrible luck with third party controllers/adapters before, I'm not sure I would want to try another one.

Ok then. Feel free to send me a PM if you change your mind and want me to check again if the DX.com adapter works well on mac ;)

Also been waiting for droppage on this. My work also blocks games sites but not GAF oddly, so is anyone kind enough to tell me which is the best version, 360 or PS3?

Face-Off: Dragon's Dogma @ Eurogamer said:
Capcom has managed to put together a competent enough cross-platform conversion which hits the right notes in most areas, but struggles to reach complete parity, and suffers from some severe performance issues on both systems. Image quality is effectively identical, bar the obvious gamma differences and better texture filtering on the Xbox 360, and in terms of the overall graphical make-up of the game there is very little to separate the two at all - none of the subtle differences have any impact on the look of the game or will affect your enjoyment at all.

However, where things start to diverge is with regards to performance. Across a general run of play, there's a feeling that the 360 version is the more consistent of the two where frame-rate and response are concerned. The regular bouts of screen-tearing on the 360 can be unsightly, with quick camera pans creating particularly ugly-looking scenes. However, the level of smoothness on offer makes for a more consistent experience across the board, and definitely helps gameplay during combat sequences.

Neither game acquits itself well here, but on balance we feel that the 360 game is the better performer, and from a technological perspective becomes our first choice when it comes down to the crucial purchasing decision. However, for those particularly sensitive to screen-tear, the PS3 version is the one to get - the experience is still deep and rewarding, and the game is still highly playable, but the lower frame-rate is more noticeable and is sometimes felt in the controls.

Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell HD collections were all under 14.99 in the first few months. I think now are under 9.99

Aren't they terrible HD attempts though? Plus first-party HD collections never seem to go down significantly in price. GOW Collection is still like 18+ quid on many sites. :lol

Tomb Raider was somewhat "okay" (although Underworld isn't a HD port, it's just the old and bad game, the only thing making it worth is Anniversary). PoP + Splinter Cell are shitty and buggy collections (you even need to INSTALL THEM on HDD before playing), so of course they drop fast.

True, first party HD collections do hold their value extremely well, and rightly so, you are getting 3 full games in one (Bar GoW ones yes, but they are GoW games afterall) I have bitten at the prices on them.

My best advice is to wait till you get a 10% off Hut code or something and buy them then. Or buy one at a time with 10% off giving you more time to wait for others to go on sale.

Just picked up Max Payne 3 Special Edition on PC from Grainger Games for £30!

It seems like it should be available in all their stores, as I asked if it was a misprice and after checking the guy said the price had been changed yesterday. Seems to be going for between £80-£100 new online. May be worth phoning your local store to check stock, I thought the extra £5 over the online price of the standard edition was well worth it for the extras. What you get (click for bigger):

Cheapest place for a wifi vita + MGS HD vita + 8gb card? All that is £242 at Amazon which seems to be cheapest.

Anywhere else?

HD remakes, not just ports. 25£ isn't high at all, when you think that it's barely 8£ per game. That's a great price for improved PS2 games.
Oh, they've been remade from the ground up in a new engine? I thought they were just the PS2 games ported with some sharper textures thrown in.
