Silver Spoon - Chapters 2-4
So I've resumed reading this, since there's no more Magi to catch up on. It's really not bad at all. The pace is brisk, and the characters are pretty likable. I find the setting somehow more nature and yet more unique than the usual slice-of-life school setting, so that's certainly a pus point. Arakawa's art is pretty good too, while the overall art direction definitely looks like FMA, none of the character really look like FMA clones. It makes it easier to identify the characters as unique people instead of being annoyed that they all look like people from another manga... which is a problem I have with Drifters.
In other news, I found out the other day that Vol2 of Silver Spoon has sold a whooping 610k copies so far. How the FUCK did they manage that? For the sort of manga it is, and how new it is, that's really shocking. Arakawa must have magic drugs in the panels.
