I'm going to try to see this in Korea on the 19th, one day before all of you in the US. But even if I don't get to see it then I won't be spoiled because most of the people around me will be speaking a language I don't understand anyways!

Not even going to read reviews that describe what the plot is about. Down with trailers after the last official one. Going in blinder than almost anything short of Breaking Bad s5, which I know nothing about!

Hell of a week ahead for insurmountable hype about things I know nothing about.

I remember B89 had collectable trading cards that came with packs of gum. Any of GAF remember that? I still remember having one showing Batman emerging from the crashed Batwing at the cathedral with the caption "battered but not beaten".

I used to have those. There is a shop nearby that still sell them, maybe one day I'm bored I'll pick up some Batman related nonsense.

The gum was hard as a rock but I remember loving collecting them back when I was 6 in the summer of 89. Lord knows what became of my collection.
 
Oldman on Kimmel last night was pretty funny because everytime they both got excited to talk about the movie or a certain scene, they would go "Oh fuck, I can't talk about that" right before they say something.

My step-father threw out most of my stuff from around that time period. I used to have them in trapper keepers with my other movie cards, primarily TMNT.

My favorite B89 item was the Batwing. You held it like a gun and it had the balloon cutters in the front.

I can't believe we have to wait another 9 days. Well in the mood for watching it now. Might watch Begins again tomorrow night.

Also my mum watched them for the first time ever, and I said she'd like TDK but not sure about Batman Begins. She hates most comic book things, despises Star Wars, LOTR and when she passed her driving test my dad took her to see 89 Batman and she was pissed as fuck. She liked TDK but said it was too busy, and really liked Begins.

There was actually a bit of a war between Godfather and Dark Knight fans back then, with them giving the other film low scores. It's actually why Shawshank is currently #1 lol

Nope. Wasn't born yet, but I got on board with the Batman Returns and Forever collectable cards.

I don't care what anyone says, both Returns and Forever are fun movies to watch. At times they are entertaining for the wrong reasons, but fun none-the-less.

But... all I can think about is The Dark Knight Rises. I went to see The Amazing Spider-Man last night, but all I could think about was the DKR trailer that played. It's the same thing when I went to see Ironman in theaters... all I could think of was TDK.
