I live in what's technically Northern Canada. We're the last major city before the arctic.
Haha, actually I had nothing in particular in mind when I said that. Although I'm always thinking about how to pose things more "dynamically", since my art is pretty dull pose-wise.
Also just concerned about my painting in general. People have told me that my paintings are dull and lifeless, and they prefer my sketches better (which I don't like.) I'm not sure what to do about that.

Same. All of my avatars are old pics, and I don't really have a working camera to take new ones.
My new pictures are just kind of ugly haha. I need ~perfect~ conditions to look good in pictures haha.

I don't think I'm particularly unattractive, but I'm definitely not photogenic. I need photographers who know how to work with light. Also, my nose looks pretty bad straight on in pics but I love the way I look in profiles.

That pretty much describes PA. So true about game day in Pittsburgh. My first year of college I lived in Allegheny Center (A.K.A. the portal to Hell), which is up past PNC Park. It was a ridiculous hassle trying to get home after classes on any day the Pirates played there. I despised trying to wade through the sea of drunken idiots.
I honestly miss living there compared to here though. This place is so boring. I don't dig small towns either.
