Sonic Adventure 2 officially announced, leaking onto consoles this fall

Jeezus, as much as people cringe at the weird-as-fuck fanart it certainly gets brought up often. But yeah, that's about right for a Sonic convention

As for Adventure 2 itself, yeah it was fun playing back in the day, but I actually think Adventure 1 did most things better. And then something something "the point where the series fell off"

Sonic Adventure itself is a spin off.
Yes?

The mere fact that a Sonic 4 came out recently should tell you that is the main line canon and everything else is it's own universe/spin off.
Or he got "leery".

But they're both 15-16. :O

Sonic 2 MS is a good game, and Sonic 3D Blast for the MD is decent. Sonic Blast is a completely godawful game for the Game Gear, where Sega thought it would be a good idea to have their 8-bit handheld system go for Donkey Kong Country-like graphics. Sonic Blast also had rather terrible gameplay.

I'm completely convinced Sonic Blast was outsourced to some shady developer. Like one of those companies that produced Sachan games for the Famicom in Asia. There's no way Sega made that.

Sega didn't make any of the 8-bit titles besides the Drift games and Spinball (though they did generally produce the music).

Haha, the trailer wasn't bad. Basically admitting that nearly eveyrthing from them is leaked before been announced. "From the masters of secrecy".XD

That cartoon is so bad that they once said that raccoons are part of the rodent family.

Wait... This was the one where you didn't play as sonic all the time and was forced to play the other characters like hunt gems and shit? Haha yeah fuck that.

Package me a version of the gam with just the sonic levels and maybe the chao and I might be down.

I remember playing the XBLA version of SA and I don't know if it was just the port but it seemed like the game aged pretty bad. Doubt I'll check this out.

Sonic fans seem to drink the most kool-aid from their own franchise than any other fanbase. It kind of reaches creepy levels.

If you want to have a hilarious hour on the internet one day, go to Google Image Search and type in your first name and then "the Hedgehog" and see all the bad art that comes up.

For example: "Cole the Hedgehog":

why did I listen to you?

I liked Sonic Adventure apart from the Big the Cat levels, but even I struggled to get through SA2. Maybe it's early Dreamcast nostalgia talking, but the Knuckles levels in SA1 weren't nearly as bad as the Knuckles/Rouge ones in SA2, were they?

Oh, and...

Not saying it'll be amazing, but the DX version of Sonic Adventure was a bad port and Sonic Adventure was buggy to start with.

Aw yeah! This is happenin!

Release this on Steam/PC SEGA if you know what's good for you.
You know they will. They've been pretty good with that stuff lately, haven't they?

How about Billy Hatcher HD?
Billie, I wouldn't mind that.

I'd really like a new 2D HD Ristar, though. I keep thinking of it in a Rayman Origins artstyle, and I think it'd be fun. The original had great art direction.

I loved sonic 2 on the master system and sonic 3D on the mega drive, yes maybe they are shitty games but as a kid they both entertained me. Ah simpler times...
Sonic 2 on the Master System is one of the best Sonic games made. It stands toe-to-toe with the Mega Drive games. Not quite as good as them, but better than anything that has come since, save for perhaps the original Sonic Advance.

Why is this the first time I've seen thisand http://youtu.be/8jp0ReAjNYY
These are so good.
