Wait, so is there a version of the score will all the music? From what I can tell, this is just like Tron Legacy with tracks spread all over the place. It's a terrible marketing tactic.
It appears not.
Until a year from now when they release a new version of the score with all those tracks included. We'll call this the "GOTY Edition" of the score.
For the consumer. These companies want you to spend their BatmanBux at their location, so they think they win when you do. Things are worse than ever down here.

Except they rarely do that unless one of the specialty labels like La-La Land Records or Intrada are able to acquire the rights, which I don't see happening. I know TDK got an expansive release, but that wasn't cobbling together content that was previously available. I wonder how long all the different retailers have the rights to their exclusive tracks.

man is a music genius..... ring 2 I looked up a lot of his stuff yesterday and I didn't even know he did a lot of stuff he did.Finally caved and listened to one of these tracks and agreed it would be the only one I listened to. Rehashed track from TDK... a song I loved so I'll give it a free pass.

For me it definitely does. While the score is good, I've heard much better from Zimmer and only two tracks really stand out to me. Begins had vastly superior music and TDK's best cues were from Howard.
Zimmer is highly overrated IMO.
