While I think "bloated mess" is probably extreme, I thought TDK was bloated too and at 2 hours and 40 minutes TDKR could very well be the same.

Was thinking instead of doing films next someone like Netflix or HBO (maybe not them the violent fuckers) should fund big budget standalone episodic live-action Batman. So like the animated series but with big name actors etc. Get Timm and Dini as writers or something.
Or yeah, just make Bad Boys 3 with Schwarzenegger and Gyllenhaal replacing Smith and Lawrence
