I want to see The Avengers again. This summer needs more of that calibre.'

Hmm.

Does this guy even have a website or is on rottentomatoes seems very unprofessional with tweets like this

Juno Temple wasn't even naked. Nolan fail!

Bane speaking to a crowd through a microphone is just *mawahwahwahwa* *Echo*

Worst part of TDKR? No Toby Jones.

?

I understand you were being sarcastic (I wouldn't say "funny", cause it wasn't), but WB now owning Rotten Tomatoes gets brought up as a conflict of interest all over the place.

The criticism really makes no sense, since RT doesnt actually review the film. People on the internet are weird(not directed at you).

Anyone else here NOT wartched the prologue? I didn't for TDK, and I didn't for TDKR. When I see it Friday, it will be for the first time.

..., but WB now owning Rotten Tomatoes gets brought up as a conflict of interest all over the place. That's why I only quoted that one line in your post..and not the rest of it.

That's because people don't know what the fuck they are talking about.

Was this sort of thing an issue when Rotten Tomatoes was owned by FOX?!

Nope. It's just Time Warner are now the more visible owners.

I broke down and watched the cam footage of the prologue to see if I could understand bane(I could, mostly). I am weak solo...weak.

Just booked my tickets for this Friday, but we'll see if we get the whole studio out to it for the opening on Thursday.

Looking forward to it.

At times in the past his voice seemed too artificially deepened and transformed; there's a bit of that here, but far less, and, ... the actor's nuances increase.
bale's lost his marbles

I searched but can't find him on there.

imo he isnt worth wasting your time. his reviews generally seem to fall in line with the general consensus but he's a twitter attention whore who loves to stir things up with lots of hyperbole.

It was the same with his review of Snow White, in the end he was proven right but it was not the worst film ever made like he claimed on twitter.

I remember official high quality version of prologue of Dark Knight was released a bit before the movie came out. they are not doing it with Rises?

Oh okay, thanks for clearing that up. This is the first I've heard of him.
I'm not too fussed anyway, there are bound to be negative reviews and I'm sure his won't be the last.

I think it was released with the re-release of the BB blu ray right before the theatrical release of TDK.

Same with this movie. I believe if you buy a new TDK blu ray today it will have the TDKR prologue attached to it.

NYC premiere means Lincoln Square. Which means same theater I am going to on Sat. WOOT!

BTW reviews prediction: This movie will not rank as high as TDK. Which is funny because most of the complaints will be NO JOKER!

Was the prologue of TDK released on blu ray, before it came out? Was it on BB Blu Ray? Thought's that how I saw it.

Though, I believe I watched a cam'd version of both TDK and TDKR's prologue.

I think it will be as good if not better than tdk, the ones scoring lower than 8 will say no joker those will be in the minority

BTW I saw the prologue twice. Once at a special viewing which I won (earned?) free passes to from that viral marketing campaign back in mid December 2011 and then again in front of MI4.

Its awesome. Don't know if its better than the bank scene. Its complete different. I think the bank scene heist was such a great opening and came out of nowhere. But now its kinda expected and just like with the Joker comparisons, people will debate which was better rather than enjoy it.

The bank scene was good but all of the extras were horrifically written and acted, as was the bank manager. Cringe-worthy. That stuff really brought that entire opening down for me.

Do you have any idea who you're criticizing? You and your friends are DEEEEEAD!

David Poland: 5/5

The Dark Knight Rises is, finally, the best of the Nolan Batman films. For the first time, the 3rd act is the best act in the film. Some may feel that this is because there is some form of “conclusion,” a word you should not try to parse before seeing the film. I feel it is that Nolan finally allowed himself to make the movie he’s been after twice before.

Boxofficemagazine review is awful. Not because it disagrees, but it's awfully written, has a line about Hathaway's arse looking good in spandex and says the best part about the IMAX scenes are Hardy's shoulders.

Hathaway's Ass and Hardy's Shoulders would make a killer two-part season finale title duo.
