My fucking name is KOG. King.Of.Games.

And I respect the hell out of you DM. Day in and Day out I'm here, respecting you!

I respect that you respect me, but I can not call you out of your given name. Your mother named you Cassius G-Fex, and I'm going to call you Cassius G-Fex.

He's getting heaps of praise. Just slightly offset with people saying he's not as good as Ledger..because that's what needs to happen!

Just as a side note, you know why I loved Ledger? Even with all his quirky movements and "over-the-top"ness, I could still imagine him making an omelet.

That's kind of how I gauge performances sometimes. Actors are often so caught up in becoming a "character" that they often forget to be human. I hav this issue with many villains these days. Villains that are portrayed in such a way that I can't imagine them doing anything else but being villainy. Like when you're not being an asshole, what are you doing? If I can't really imagine that then I can't really get behind it. Which is why, all things considered, this guy:

worked very well as a villain. He played that part perfectly.

It's probably hard to evaluate Bane without being spoiled, but I imagine he'll be more prominent than Neeson, less than the Joker, just as awesome as both.

That's my review! 10/4

A great villain by me is the simple metric of "is he the hero in his own story?". A lot of villains are set up as straw men to be knocked down, not people who are too finding their own purpose in life, just on the wrong side of the moral divide. A villain like Th Lizard probably hated himself for all the dumb shit he did coked up on Lizard juice.

Holy crap a top critic banned!!!!!

Rottentomatoes twitter :
The critic who posted the fake review link has done it before. That critic won't be posting on our site again.

Indeed, I think people think sometimes that to be a believable villain, you can't be "evil" or ultra villainous, you have to be tragic or misguided or whatever.

But the Joker was 100% bad, with no redeeming qualities, but he still came across as a real guy in his acting, as you say there, just a crazy one devoted to a mad ideal. Same with Quaritch there, he was a total prick, as a villain, but he still came across as a real guy with a job, likes/dislikes, hobbies, friends, all that stuff. I don't imagine him burning down villages every morning and kicking dogs during dinner.

Haha, I knew exactly what clip it was going to be before I clicked on it. Perfect.

Haha yup, love JJJ.

Very well said.

are there any good spoiler free lengthy reviews? Bit of a tough ask im sure, ill even take minor spoilery, basically ill take most stuff that doesnt talk about the ending.

We all know the only review that matters is
Solo's 6.5/10 "worse than BB and TDK".

Its the review batgaf deserves but not the one it would accept.

With a lot of reviewers mentioning how you probably need to see Batman Begins to get the full effect of this one, I imagine the only thing that will tank for Solo is TDK.

Every time a "greatest trilogy?" thread pops up on GAF, he will be there, lurking in the shadows, simply walking up behind Bat-GAF and stabbing them in the heart.

Rolling Stone review:

It was Dent who died going psycho as the evil Two- Face, but Commissioner Gordon (the reliably superb Gary Oldman) persuaded Batman to take the blame as an impetus for severe new crime laws in Gotham.

They must have watched a different film.

I did find myself concerned while watching TASM that
The Lizard seemed to go from perfectly sympathetic to suddenly evil right after he turned into the Lizard, even when in human form. But it thankfully made clear that was all the Lizard, not Dr. Connors, by having him not only survive the movie and return to the guy was originally after it was all cleared out of him, and obviously feel like a piece of shit for the stuff he'd done as the Lizard and turn himself into the police of his own initiative. Just a more believable treatment of a villain's end for a superhero film

It was a similar difference in the previous Spider-Man films, where in 2, Doc Ock remained understandable how he went from A to B to C in his character arc, whereas in SM 3 the likes of the Sandman had actions that didn't seem to make any actual sense, so he fell flat as a villain.

I'd be going mad if I didn't have all these reviews to read today. Slowest work day ever. All I've been doing for the past 8 hours is capture video, but I'm not supposed to start cutting it yet because my boss isn't here. blahh.

I need to rise from the darkness.

He wont stab batgaf. But he doesnt have to save it, either.
