I don't get Watanabe - his English seems to be REGRESSING the more English films he does :lol

Seriously, he was more understandable in The Last Samurai than in Batman Begins, and more understandable in Batman Begins than in Inception.

He does it on purpose just to get everyone confused.

Aside from that scene with the carpet, I was able to understand Watanabe.

The carpet dialogue though, still don't know what's saying. Something about polyester and wool.

Oh Noes!

It's easy to understand someone when you already know what the lines to be spoken are.

That said, neither Bane nor Watanabe have really bugged me with their speech. I think Bane's speech is cool. It's like a cross of Darth Vader and Sean Connery to me.

Seriously. Like just imagine if Ken Watanabe and Neeson's roles were reversed. Would have been atrocious and Rhas wouldn't have been memorable at all.

Would have needed subtitles.

Liam Neeson is amazing, I don't think anyone else could have made that character who he was, I almost didn't want him to die at the end. I loved the way it ended with him closing his eyes knowing his death was inevitable.

Neeson/Ra's could tell you to blow up a hospital and you still want to be his friend.

I haven't read the review but what she is saying is one of my pet peeves if true. When a film does not reach a viewers expectations and that letdown influences their review. The film could still be good but it won't get a fair review due to the disappointment.

I guess that's the necessary sacrifice to make his third act reappearance fun. But I do agree that it would have been fun to see what he was up to in the second act.

I mean, it was a good surprise when he came back in the movie the first time I watched it , but on rewatches, I sort of wish find myself missing his presence. He was a handful of scenes away from really making a larger impact with audiences.

She may not have killed your hype GAF, but she's destroying everything it stood for. You wanna thank her for that? Here's her twitter. We all know where to find her. But as long as she keeps the bad critics rich and the good critics scared no one will touch her. Good posters like Sculli who won't stand for injustice, they're gone.

A Rachel quote.

Now I've seen everything.
