no idea honestly...I watched TDK at the one in charlotte and the domed screen just kind of made it look weird. I'll probably check out TDKR there sometime for the hell of it, but i'm just gonna watch it first at a liemax
It's kind of pointless. It's like asking Gates or Zuck's salary. When you start getting into these big numbers there are obviously other factors are work which determine compensation.
Chicago Tribune review is spoilerific. I read a few paragraphs and decided it was not a good idea to finish.
Could you still tell what was going on? I got tickets at a 15/70 IMAX but I didn't realize it was a dome screen. The tickets are non-refundable so I'm pretty much locked in.
Yeah it was completely understandable. Its just the screen is like a planetarium, it surrounds your whole frame of vision and the corners are curved. It was still cool, I just kind of wished I had seen it on a flat screen first. I don't really remember exactly how the imax shots looked compared to the rest of the movie, it might be better for TDKR since more of the movie is filmed like that.
To whomever takes up the directorial reigns, however, I can only say two words: Good luck. Youre not going to top this.
All depends on if you're going to include actors who get a big chunk of the back end gross or if you're talking about an up front fee.
I think Arnold might still have the highest up front at $30m back in 03
Otherwise Keanu might be one of the biggest for back end salaries because of his producer credit.
Yeah, I just read some very spoilerific review too. WTF is wrong with these people.
Okay, thanks! That alleviates my fears a bit.
Better not luckier
Where does Nicholson fit in for Bat 89? I remember reading or hearing that with the way his contract was structured he got paid for Bat 89, Bat Returns and Bat Forever.
Was watching TDK on blu-ray and noticed the Begins train is actually in a bunch of shots.
Just make sure you don't get stuck sitting too close. You want to get a seat as far back as possible, or maybe in the middle somewhere
pretty sure that honeycutt review contains a massive spoiler. fuck
Every single review has a spoiler whichis why everyone is posting qoutes andscores only
What this film really is, arguably of course, is the conclusion of the best film trilogy in popular cinema.
So what´s the quintessence of all the reviews? Is this movie more like Begins or more like the Dark Knight?
I`m very busy with work and don`t have time to check all the reviews.

You can see the BB tracks on the right side of the screen in the background.
Any more than this?
Massive spoilers in that Honeycutt review, for people that are thinking about reading it
at least 3 more shots than that one.

Unethical and dangerous too, FYI.

Wilbury can you confirm or deny some epic bit-players a la falafel guy/no more dead cops cop
Sounds like it's closer to Begins than TDK. Though upping the spectacle of course
