The spiral staircase scene made me cringe so bad when Gordon Levitt says 'paradox' or whatever. Like ugh yea we get it. Nolan's one liner's are so hit or miss, and when they miss they're really bad. I know that's not really exposition but it's an unnecessary reminder of something they said earlier.

I had no problem with it. I'm not sure what people wanted instead.

More character development and genuine growth so you can get to know them and care for them, instead they wasted a lot of time telling people rules on how things are supposed to happen and not letting audiences connect things on their own. It's just dumbed down to pseudo-intelligent levels so the masses can think they were part of a challenging but rewarding 'deep' experience. I liked the movie but that kinda stuff brought it down a lot.

I'd actually say that it's a lot like the FIRST HALF of Spider-Man 3 before he gets the venom suit and all the crazy shit starts happening.

It feels like a greatest hits version of the beats of the previous two films and has characters acting somewhat out of character to push their arcs forward.

The plot of the movie isn't bad at all. It's good. But the characters suffer big time imo.

They need you right now, to confirm their hype. But when you don’t, they'll cast you out, like a leper. See, their morals, their code... it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. Trust me when I say that you should just take a deep breath and go into the film expecting to enjoy yourself. If you go in expecting a life changing cinematic experience you will obviously be let down.

There is no reason to drive yourself into a tizzy. I love these movies as much as the next guy but Im not banking my happiness on the film.
