Fuck, now I want to see if I can grab a ticket for midnight tonight at a nearby regular theater. Or wait till Saturday to have my first taste be in IMAX....

Exactly. It's one of the reason why I don't want to watch the movie today (BUT WANT TO! UGH!) as all the good reserved seats are gone. I don't want to wait 2 hours in line to watch a 3 hour movie when I have work at 7am. I rather sleep the whole day, walk in at 12, be in bed at 3 and wake up at 6.

*sigh*

You know what is even worse? Theaters around me have reserved seating, but you can't pick your seats. They promise "The best seat that allows optimal viewing" or something like that. Like I'm supposed to trust them to give me the best seat. Fuck that.

This is what I miss about living in Japan. Every show in every theater has reserved seating, and you get to pick where you're sitting when you buy your ticket.

Totes. And too poor for this shit is reserved for the IMAX trilogy.
Yes.
I'm not that old then ..

is there a list or youtube channel with all the trailer/tv spots??

I'm surprised at how many people prefer Begins to TDK. I found Begins to be well-written, but easily the most boring Batman film. I love the atmosphere of it, and Batman has a strong presence, but TDK is better in every other possible way.

So this thread will remain no spoilers right!? I've asked this about three times and no one has given me a straight answer. I don't want to go the Spoiler Free thread either, it's like a ghost town over there. :(

Isn't your avatar a depiction of the Batman Begins suit? :p

I'm going to my lakehouse until Sunday just to avoid spoilers. I'm seeing the movie in dirty pleb-vision that night, then seeing it in IMAX once I get back to Nashville.

Going to the midnight showing , what time should I be there?

Where are you going to see it? I'm in Manhattan and going to the midnight show at Lincoln Square IMAX. I'm wondering what time to be there as well. I'm thinking 7pm should be good, but I really don't know...

I'm very much just a lurker on these forums, and I've never posted here until now, but I just gotta say that Baf-GAF has made the buildup and wait for TDKR about 100x more enjoyable (and probably bearable) than it would have been without it.

I'm leaving for the marathon screening in like an hour, so this will be my last time posting/browsing before it all ends here. Thanks for everything, folks, and before I go here is my inane contribution. to help y'all kill the time; a video I helped a friend make wherein I run around yelling at people as Batman. The audio isn't synched but it's still at least somewhat enjoyable.

I went to sleep at 6-7AM felt like I slept all day then laid there for a while, looked at the clock....
10:20AM Fuuuuuu

I got 7 hours today which as been a bit above average lately, so I should be good. Finishing my TDK watch right now, and then I'll probably head out a bit after that.

I wish Det. Stephens would return for TDKR. Guy's a 20 year man.

Respect roeper, glad to know he loved him. I trust him on most things..
25 million is BATshit crazy. This has to beat avengers.

FUUUU I don't know what they're talking about in there :(

Watching this at 3:30am on Friday, heading to work right afterwards.

Been skimming the last couple of pages but since I'm one of the people who prefers BB over TDK mostly due to Bruce's arc, I'm glad that TDKR seems to have that focus again.
