GAF, I'm considering seeing it again today. I'm torn.

One one hand I feel like a second viewing will help cement my opinion on the film in my mind. Yet on the other hand I remember my problems with the film and am not sure I want to sit through that again.

I could see it in a couple hours from now.

I'd go again.

4 hours? Christ. I'd probably hate the movie regardless of quality after waiting that long.
Okay Begins is going to start in five mins. I'll try and get a picture of them during the intermission. Also my friend is here with his hot friend and she is showing off the twins in her catwoman costume. I'll try and get a pic of her too.

straight trolling

I waited in line for midnight showing of inception for an hour. Lineup was already huge when I got there and I got a great seat towards middle-back. Fuck waiting longer than that. It's so retarded we should have a seat reservation system here so people don't have to wait in line. We all have our tickets anyways. So stupid. I better get a good seat tonight. I'm not heading down there until after 1030 minimum.

Aside from 4-5 movies a year that I feel compelled to see day one/weekend one, I am the same. Most other movies I tend to see 1-2 weeks post release, and I find it works wonderfully. Skyfall will probably be my only other day one movie this year. Django would be if it weren't fucking releasing on Christmas Day.

Yeah, I wait for years or months, what's another week? I kind of just ignore the hype and go on with my life and decide to see X on a whim without any obstacles.

Like the amazing spiderman the other day.

Bale is such a horndog

lol An awesome perk from his job, you should see his wife... straight up dime.

Skyfall/The Hobbit are the only two films I'll see day 1 this year, I think. The former being out here before the U.S is the icing on the cake.

sitting in a half empty theatre for a event movie in the morning kinda dampens the fun for me personally. i just love all the poeple out on a summer night in costume and just the anticipation feeling of it all. anywho cant make it tonight :( . headed down to so cal tomorrow so will catch tdkr over at the arclight dome on sunday.

The others didn't have one, but there's no post-credits scene right?

Fucking psyched though. Can't believe it's been 4 years since we did the TDK midnight already. Three hours now.

Same. Most movies I wouldn't care to do midnight showings, but stuff like this are a great experience. The crowd is hugely into it, it's awesome.

Oh god, the people in costume. I think Ive only ever witnessed that for the Star Wars prequels, and holy fuck did it ever make me laugh.

I've not stood in line, don't want to now. But I guess I'll go 30-45 minutes early...

I'm hearing thunder...

Wonder if lines inside or stupidly outside.

Probably doesn't work with this movie

It says $12 off any ticket. and I was never told of a caveat. In fact, it was on the TDKR page. I tried it on a bunch of random movies and still have not found anywhere to enter it. :( Even checked old movies at the Value Cinema. I sent an email to customer service, but I won't get anything back in time.

With respect Master Sculli, perhaps this is a movie that *you* don't fully understand. I would see it again.

Seriously, what goes through the mind of a 40 something year old male to make him decide to throw on a bath robe and carry a plastic lightsaber to the movie theatre and pretend to be Obi Wan Kenobi?

LOL there were a few guys dressed in full Batman kevlar armour at my screening. I imagine they would have been hot as hell.

If I was dressed up for a screening I would at least do it for kicks. Moving your legs so somebody can get past and when they say 'Thank you', you growl back 'YOU DONT HAVE TO THANK ME'

I've never seen so many utterly crushed Obi Wans as I did after Episode II :lol Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus, and Episode II is dreadful.

I think Star Wars fans are legit insane.

I can never decide the right time to show up for a midnight showing. I'm hoping 10:45 will work out OK. I showed up to Avengers waaaaay to earlier and it was very awkward.

If they have to reboot the series I hope they go for a 'soft' reboot and just make Batman Beyond.

Also MI:3 is the best MI by a fucking million miles.

omg yes, I couldn't believe how great MI:3 was, especially after the disappointing MI:2. It's like one giant action scene.

Then I looked it up, and found it was by the same guys who wrote the first Transformers film, which I really liked (but of course the sequels blew).

Matinees are the best. Earlier the better. Fucking quiet as hell.

11:15 for the win I called them too, they said the first showing wouldn't have that many poeple. :) Fucking midnight showings lol. Gettin there at like 11 est :P Sometimes living in a smaaall town has it perks.
