It's just odd how you use the word opinion 13 times in one fucking sentence and then cry over people liking Batman BUT THE INTERPRETATION IS FUCKING AWFUL AND WRONG

Or I used it twice in one sentence and you keep insulting me because I don't like a movie that you do.

You insulted all of us by blatantly saying "if you like Nolan's Batfilms, you don't like Batman". That's a bit different than simply not liking a movie. But that's just my opinion.

Just watched Batman Begins (already saw The Dark Knight a couple of times in the past week since it kept airing on TV), and one thing that irks me about it now is his parents.

No focus on Martha Wayne, at all. A line or two and a scream when Joe Chill shot them both. She's supposed to be as big in Bruce's life as his dad, and we get nothing from her. Could've given her some lines, even to support Thomas other than nodding.

Yeah, Bruce's dad gets all the focus, while his mom is pretty much there to get shot. Then again, Nolan doesn't really portray women very well in his films.

Going to see the 4AM Imax showing. What could go wrong.

Also, I would like to point out, thanks a lot gaf for spoiling who the Villain was with your Avatars. Up till 2 weeks ago, the only thing I knew about the movie was that it was the last one, and Riddler wouldn't be the main Villain.

Really? The main villain is a spoiler? How could you have walked into TDK without knowing that Joker was the villain?

It's a long road
When you're on your own
And it hurts when
They tear your dreams apart

26 hours. sigh.

28 hours, 20 minutes. I feel your pain, champ.

You can't blame us for using something that is blasted out in all related advertisement.

I got my tickets for a Friday morning showing several days ago. In about nine hours I'll be sitting in the theatre waiting for the movie to start. I managed to avoid pretty much all spoilers and haven't read any full reviews, so I'm able to go in blind aside from trailers. I'll see Bat-GAF in the spoiler thread once I get out. :D

I just spoiled myself by clicking on the other thread D: They're too damn similar in length I just clicked without reading the full title. Damn.

Fuck me I thought the exact same thing too when I watching it yesterday before TDKR! It felt like she was just his trophy wife, nothing more...especially in that train scene where he talked about choosing to focus on the work at the hospital. Hahaha poor Martha, at least you strung together a couple sentences before your untimely death.

Give me one reason why I shouldn't have my boy here rip your tickets off you.

How about an illusion?

What's the general consensus in the spoiler thread? People like it? Not like it?

I don't want to look without getting spoiled lol.

It is getting very nitpicky. But fans do this stuff. GAF does this stuff. Yes there are plot holes and ridiculous occurrences, but you could say the same about the other films.

its really getting a bit silly. I'm just gonna watch it for myself and if I'm honestly that disturbed by the plot holes... I'll be surprised. This is probably the most scrutinized movie I've ever seen.

Shit, I might stay out of that thread then, even after I've seen it.. unless I pick up on lots of stuff too that I wanna nitpick.

GAF is changing me.

I do think Sunhi's gif represented one part of my impressions. I don't think TDKR is a distant third.

To me it is clearly below BB and TDKR, but not by too much. It still feels like a good finish. It is just flawed.

It's kind of like how I really dig The Lovely Bones, whilst still accepting its flaws.
