Exactly. Picking a highly populated server is tough since it'll segment the GAF group but I guess deciding so early on makes it hard to tell how each server will turn out.

I'll go to wherever else people decide to go for North American players.

When most of the people in the GAFGuild can't even get onto the server I think it's probably a better idea to fallback to another server.

It's not really about that man. It's about having a queue in general. While WvW may be your main focus, it may not be for everyone else in the guild. So queues and all that just hinder everyone's enjoyment of the game.

After making a Guardian,Engineer and Thief I am really enjoying the Mesmer right now in the Silvary area...at one point I had 5 copies of myself fighting a Boss in my Story instance hehe...I was 2 level lower also and didn't die,whith my Guardian I would of been toast... (meaning the Guardian was my first character in the BWE,I learned to use the dodge and kitting technique better now).

Never played GW1.

From what I've played so far, GW2 is very different anyway, so you don't really gain a ton by having played GW1 (outside of lore)

I got DC many times and can get inside easily, sometimes in the overflow, others in the main.

If you can't roll on Gates of Madness thanks to the obvious clusterfuck we all knew was coming, it sounds like Henge of Denravi is going to be your best bet.

There is no need to create a second GAF guild as guilds are cross-server. Just ask an officer for an invite, regardless of where you're at.

I still don't understand the overflow server stuff though...again me and a friend made a character on the same server,same class so we start in the same area,once we are in the game we group up and it shows that we are in a party together but we can't see each other...we tried teleporting to the same waypoint to try and sure enough I can't see him...so this meanS the overflow left us grouped together but we are in different servers? how can you play with a friend if that's the case...?

We played Rift together and SWtOR all the way through and we can't do it in this?...I dont get it.
