Watching that again, what was the bit about the "missing item" and "leaving no stone unturned" that the lawyer asked his clerk during the will reading?

Bruce's mothers pearls.......which Bruce had taken and given back to Selina, which she was wearing at the cafe.

Martha Wayne's pearl necklace was still missing, which I took it as Bruce took them with him to give to Selina.

Because he's going to give her a pearl necklace.

Shut up, DONT SAY IT.

Alfred: I never wanted you to come back to Gotham. I knew that there was nothing here for you but pain and despair. And I wanted more than that for you. I still do.

Michael Caine almost had me in tears.

That makes a ton of sense. Gracias.

That's LovingSteam bad.

Just got done watching it and loved it. Ending was fantastic. Now my unpopular opinions....

-Anne Hathaway is a terrible Catwoman from looks to personality. Pfeiffer was better in every regard.

-Bane is a better villain than the Joker but i wouldnt say his acting is as good.

- Batman Begins > TDKR > TDK

I think they make it pretty clear with putting the bat sign back up.

Based on the way this thread has gone, I've learned not to have any expectations about anything, regardless of how crystal clear something might seem to me. There are people here who still don't think Bruce put the bat symbol back there. I don't even....

How did Joseph Gordon Levitt know that Bruce Wayne was Batman? That was a bit contrived. And I thought the flashbacks from the previous films was pretty lame. The end when Batman tells Gordon about putting a coat on a boy and then it flashes back to him doing that to little Bruce Wayne. And then on top of that he says "Bruce Wayne." Come on! IS the audience that stupid that you have to spell out everything for us?

Have you not read this thread? Seems 1/2 the people were sleeping during the movie.

Revealing that his real name is Robin and ending the movie with him at the Batcave is a master troll. Thank you, Nolan.

Question: so was Bruce hobbled for 8 years because of that fall at the end of TDK? I was waiting for them to explain why he was so crippled because he appeared rather mobile at the end of that scene.

I remember him barely being able to run at the end if TDK.

Yeah, its going to be debated and misunderstood for a long time :lol

Yeah, it's one thing to debate "is Deckart a replicant?", but it's another to ask whether Bruce Wayne is alive or if Alfred is dreaming. Come on people.

If you're doing an impression of when Adam West was on The Simpsons raving about how the old catwomen were far better then bravo.

Huh, really? Me and everyone I know are convinced that he is going to become Robin.

Batman is a symbol. Eternal. Everlasting. To quote Speeding, "there's gotta be a Batman". Bruce passed the torch to Robin. That's why he fixed the bat symbol and that's why he gave Blake directions to the Batcave. Robin is going to take up the Batman mantle in the non-existent fourth movie.

He's not going to become anything. There's no fourth movie, it was just an easter egg type thing he slapped in there. In the movie it's just implied that he succeeds Batman, whatever that means. Also, he's a horrible character that shouldn't be anyone.

i liked the character just fine. completely disagree with you.

Has there been commentary that JGL is wearing a vest in his GQ cover, ala Nolan?
