No one was hurt, they are all wearing heavy gear, it's just a training/demonstration.

edit: though yeah, I would rather not be an unprotected hostage when that tactic is used oO


I just thought the critical hit context was funny, like doing 9999 damage with your highlevel FF character using a sword...
