3DS Streetpass Experiences

If I have a puzzle that's only missing pink pieces, and I buy a new random piece with play coins, can the new piece still be (a redundant piece) for the puzzle that's only missing pink pieces, or will it cut me some slack and be for a puzzle that is missing regular pieces?

If you have all blue pieces you wont get duplicates with play coins for that puzzle.

Oh, that's good. Time to start pissing away my play coins on puzzle pieces. :P I was going to wait until I had all of the pink pieces to start buying new pieces, but I'd have to go outside for that and that's not really my bag.

i've read somewhere that you will have to do the normal quest three times and the secret quest FIVE times to get all the hats ........ :(

I'm on my fifth or sixth run in the Secret Quest and the lower right locked room is still locked, and you need to visit that room three times to get all of the hats inside of it, so it doesn't stop at five. :P

if your "lower right room" is locked, then you are in fact NOT in the secret quest - but in the normal one! for that room you'll need the bronze key (which I also do not have)

I've ran through Secret Quest once, taking the top route.
Is there a most efficient way of picking routes in order to get all hats?
Or does it all amount to the same number of trips either way?

Just cross referencing a list of what hats I'm missing with where you get them, I'm apparently going to have to go through the Secret Quest like a thousand more times.

Red circled rooms are rooms that have hats I'm missing. Bah.

I would pay money for a sorted list of the hats. Gamefaqs just has a. Level oriented map.

just a full map like the poster before me posted.

Cant wait for GamesCom - will use it to finish everything xD

Hmmm I think this may be accurate:

Find Mii 2 -
Secret Quest Hat Locations
--------------
1. Warp Pipe Hat, Daisy Crown, Yellow Yoshi Hat
5. Panda Hat, Samurai Wig
7. Question Block Hat, Barbara the Bat Wig
8. Tomato Hat, Chef Hat
10. Ice Cream Hat, Straw Hat
12. Lacy Headband, Tiny Top Hat
15. Chomp Hat, Pink Yoshi Hat
17. Penguin Hat, Hibiscus
21. Blooper Hat, Hatchet Hat
22. Sunflower Accessory,
25. Bear Hat, Light-Blue Yoshi Hat
27. Hot Dog Hat, Ramen Hat
29. Football Helmet, Swimming Cap
31. 3Ds Hat, Nes Hat, Famicom Hat
34. Piranha Plant Hat, Magic Hat, Devil Horns
35. Princess' Crown, Waluigi's Cap, Dark Emperor Helmet

So coupled with this:

Should be everything we need :)

It's really easy to beat the final boss with less than 20 Miis.

Provided of course, you have two level 7 Miis of the same color.

Awesome, i will post a tagged list of my missing hats maybe you guys can help me there.

also: a waifu with a a 3ds if freaking helpfulll. Lvl 7 with any shirt color you want? Done!

No need to hire Miis when you're guaranteed to get four of them every day, three times a day each! lol

What? I haven't played in a while due to needing a white shirt and not making many connections. Does Nintendo now send you Miis automatically or something?

He's talking about in his situation when he has others with 3DSs in the same house.

You just have to keep on hiring wandering heroes with play coins, which can get annoying.

I managed to do it with two blue level 5 miis. I was close to not doing it because of some missed hits, but I made it.

which color?
Any color. Just keep hiring them both and teaming them up for 52 damage every time. He has 250 HP so the bare minimum number of Miis needed to beat him is 10, and it gives you room to miss a few tries.

If you streetpass someone with a low-level Mii and that might mess you up, you can also waste that Mii on Find Mii 1.

Or black and white.

Haven't tried it so I don't know how well it works, but if you use magic with a pink shirt Mii you have a chance to make critical attacks every turn. Combined with two same colored Miis you could make a lot of damage. The only drawback is that you are much more likely to miss, but if you can get at least two of the four hits you will make more damage than four regular attacks.

But really, the only thing you need to get the key is to have two level 7 Miis of the same color or black and white and combine them.

Geez, I had forgotten how insane the Plaza population/Tag accomplishments are. After Otakon this year I shot up to 851 tags and a population of 588. That's still a LOT to go, especially considering how rare new people are outside of a con setting or something similar.

Okay, so Plaza Population: 2739. (Tags 4139)

Apparently after far enough back, all of my tagged Miis have been turned into "Met by invitation" Miis. That's...really weird. (And no, I don't have Mario Kart 7. I have NEVER invited a Mii.)

Anyway, 11 months ago, I have: Nick, Russell, Jorge II, galvo, Awells, Funnymonk, metalynkz, Jared, Mark, Tony (red), Dee, Eagle, Charlie, Sarah, traxview, big *ox, Audra, Karmae, Theguyser, Tony (green), {truth};, Nathan, Jay, and Koopa. (First five rows.)

So...I shall report back in a month or so. I know that I'm getting a crapload of tags Tuesday, because there's an E3 streaming event being hosted at the Nintendo World Store, so there'll easily be 60+ people with 3DSes.

Back from Otakon. Got my "every province in your region" while there, so now all that's left is 5000-10000 and the "don't use the 3DS for a month" ones.

So... Plaza Population: 3000+, Tags: 4968

Miis in order:
Andrew, Foggles, Lunaar, Chimp, Porky, Hannah, Kevin, Jeff, Mattwasx, xivk, Nick, Jakob, Ja'man, Popeye, Saiyuki, B-Man, Shelleh, Mike, Blast, D.D, NIMROD_TEX, Daniel, TeamMtn, Metal Fire. (First five rows)

Looks like that yes, older Miis to get overwritten and booted out if they're not retagged with some frequency.
