I think some people in the rock band thread had very negative reactions to the "new thread for new news" rule. Announcements related to the game such as dlc and maybe stuff leading up to the launch of rock band 3 kept getting lost in the chatter of the thread's community. I remember somebody spamming threads related to the game in a sarcastic angry way then getting banned.
