I trust what tragic and hdn repeated. The console versions run perfectly fine.
lol...Like if GB is more "360 focused" than any other sites... The journalists never choose the version they receive, it's up to the publisher to decide. The most common case is for them to send 360 but they do send PS3 builds from time to time.... Doesn't mean anything and people need to stop seeing conspiracies everywhere.
No need to hope, they are the lead designer and lead combat designer I'm pretty sure they know where their product stands.

There is no conspiracy talk here, I was just worried,since lack of footage,GB getting a version for a system they don't cover much sounded a bit weird, that all.
Lets hope the console versions give as free purple kittens then.

I wouldn't worry about version differences. The only real "choice" is between console or PC - and that's only because PC performance is only limited by, well, your PC specs. As far as the console versions go, they are both great. I have a very solid PC, a PS3, and an XBOX, and I'll be playing on XBOX. Not for any brand-loyalty or performance issues, but because I got an XBOX first and I like achievements =). Love my PS3, and my PC knocks DS2 out of the park. =)
Sometimes the retail discs finish printing at different times. It could just be that PS3 finished first (mind you, I have no idea) and they wanted to give as much lead time to the reviewers as they could (the game is long!).

I double dipped on the first one when it came out on PC. I had already bought the PS3 version at launch. As much as I would love to throw money at you guys in support of your efforts, I have to stick with just one PC copy this go round. Funds is tight homie!
PS3 and Wii U for me.
And when I FINALLY upgrade (read: change) my shit PC, I'll check it out.

Men ds1 was a pretty Terrible PC port IMO.
This isn't DS1.

No, it wasn't.
Just because the game wasn't significantly improved over the console version, that doesn't make it a "terrible" port.
In fact it was probably the best version overall.

Nope it was the smoothest running version for me, and it looked almost twice as good with FXAA running on it

Ran great on my computer. I actually just beat it for the second time last week.
