That's not reassuring. Maybe this game really is incomplete.
LOL I wouldn't worry

I thought embargo's till right around launch happened alot now a days? I might be wrong though, plus it's up the publisher not the devs when those things happen.

Review copies are out. The game is done.
So has Death's Chaos form been discussed or revealed?
Is it a Robed Grim Reaper?

They also fired 80 people from the studio a month before they went from building it to polishing it.He means half ass, it doesn't mean the game isn't on disc. But they spent the last 3 months for polish alone. Soooo like I said I wouldnt worry
Holy crap! Those look friggin' bad-ass! But I'll be honest, I'm going to miss War. Death doesn't seem to talk much, does he?

The publisher said the layoffs are the result of just-announced plans to switch Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium from a massively multiplayer online game to a single player and multiplayer title.

He actually seems like he is going to talk even more than War did. War was actually pretty quiet in Darksiders. Death is also being voiced by Michael Wincott (Top Dollar from The Crow). That dudes voice is gravely an awesome.
Yeah looking forward to hearing the voice acting for Death. I don't really get the hate that some people bring up regarding War's voice acting. I thought it was pretty stellar and quite fitting to the character.
Really? I haven't heard him say much, but then again, I'm not really watching each trailer as I don't want anything spoiled.
I found War's voice in DS1 good. It certainly added to the comic book vibe that Joe Mad was obviously going for. Really? People found it bad?
Well, War wasn't exactly a charmer. All he did was growling about how angry he was.Yeah looking forward to hearing the voice acting for Death. I don't really get the hate that some people bring up regarding War's voice acting. I thought it was pretty stellar and quite fitting to the character.
I'm extremely curious to see what they will do with Dark Millenium as a single player.
I don't want to be negative here but when GB (a 360 focused site mostly) gets the PS3 review code, you should know the other version might have serious issue.
There is no conspiracy talk here, I was just worried, since lack of footage,GB getting a version for a system they don't cover much sounded a bit weird, that all.
Uhhh, they cover plenty of PS3 stuff. Publisher choose what version to send out.
Question for the devs here, are you using the space on blu-ray for anything extra? Like higher bitrate on the cutscenes or something?
Is there an optional install? I am all for installing if it shortens load times! Got 320GB, let me use it!
Kingdoms of Amaluer: Reckoning was sort of like that, and it was pretty okay.I'm extremely curious to see what they will do with Dark Millenium as a single player.
The idea of a whole MMO world recycled for a single player game is exciting, but then you have to wonder if the core game mechanics and NPC interactions will be suited for the task.
I really didn't like it much.Kingdoms of Amaluer: Reckoning was sort of like that, and it was okay.
Oh, and this gif reminds me another point... I really hope there's more room for mounted combat in this sequel.
Honestly if I can just go check out a Necron or two and walk around a Tomb World, shoot a Tau in the head, or even hang out in some Imperial City and read up on some neato lore. I would be just fine with the game regardless of quality.I really didn't like it much.
I have better expectations (maybe misplaced) for Dark Millenium.
Some people hate the art style, and they hated the voice acting saying it was too gravely and annoying or some shit.
Damnit! I finished DS1 on Xbox and now I'm getting DS2 on PS3! What to do?!
The only issue I have with the PC version of the original game is the hit-or-miss registering of Steam Achievements. For example, I never got "Bat Out Of Hell" for defeating the Bat Queen.
War's voice was a little overdone at times. Like he was saying something deep and epic every single time when he wasn't lol.
Same with me, few boss fights never got me an achievement.
Why the hell would you want to play an action game with mouse & keyboard. There is absolutely no benefit.

Every time someone makes a claim like this for Darksiders, I can't help but wonder what games he/she found enjoyable in recent times.Even though I've never managed to complete the original and used it as a sleep aid, I'm gonna go find a copy today and plow through it this weekend so I can get those pauldrons and that scythe.

That's exactly my point: I don't.I enjoy mostly everything
That's exactly my point: I don't.
And while I don't think Darksiders is a perfect game or the single best thing in years, I really have a hard time listing more than, say, ten recent titles I would prefer to it.
It gets even harder when you have to limit the choices to the same genre, action adventures.
The two Batman games are a good start, but then..?
If someone would dare to say to me that any Assassin's Creed is better than Darksiders I would laugh at his face, for instance.
