Watching WNF and this is the first time I've ever seen an ASW game running at 720p+ on twitch. It could bring a grown man to tears.

lets just say KOF13, SG, SC5, VF5, and MK9 never had 80+ people entrants at WNF. (correct me if I'm wrong.) Even if it stays at 60 its almost guarantee to be at EVO. Its a matter of people sticking with it and that will come in time

I think medium legs if that makes sense. It looks accessible enough to pick up and get momentum, but probably not deep enough for 10 more years. This btw is the best a fighting game could hope for in the next year I think, so it is well placed.

This is totally so minor and unimportant, but it annoys me in Persona that the combo counter appears on the side of the person getting comboed, not the one doing it. Every other recent game is the over way! Lol.

This is a problem when doing the All Out attacks in the opponent's corner, the smoke blocks the combo number and makes it harder to time the fatal counter.

you can time it. I know James Xie saying they got it down where it was something like 6 button presses with both buttons or something like that to get the fatal counter. Somewhere along those lines.

In Persona? It's way at the top of the screen, above the life bars and near the Persona portraits. Little white diamonds. I suspect most stream overlays will block them.

WNF was way too packed tonight. Don't think I'll go back until the Persona hype dies down a little or they have more than 4 setups plus the stream.

I don't see how SF4 was a gateway to anything cept maybe Marvel. Actually judging it on a player per player basis, I think animu games only lost relevancy because of SF4 and Marvel. Spooky, Sabin, Noel: Arcana -what?

They didn't so much lose it as they were completely eclipsed by games that had a bigger reach.
Players brought into the scene by SF4/Marvel are not the enemy.
I don't think anyone's saying that new players are the enemy. Rather, I think the idea is that the standard for the number of entrants in a "normal" tournament was really skewed by SF4 and Marvel. The two games still tend to eclipse every other game in terms of entrants during majors, after all.

The problem is that some people blame their game not doing well on people playing SF4/Marvel instead, when those two games have done more to bring people in than any Anime game. A rising tide lifts all boats, but it's not going to convince people to play a game they don't want to play.

I didn't get to play yet but people on twitter saying it works.
The only lag I had pre patch was round 1 I'd always stutter for about 5 seconds, then everything then on was silky smooth.
Glad I stuck to my guns with 360.
