Wiped after the last stress test, my guess is they'll have another next week, esp. after the server issues.

When I register my CD key it never gave me an option for a password, my friend said it used my GW1 password and the email, but that doesn't work because it doesn't recognize my GW1 password should i do a password reset?

I'm 99% sure they'll wipe the characters after the last stress test. Most likely they'll let you pick a different server too.

Just tested some graphic options. Getting 50fps with most everything on high in Lion's Arch.

Unlikely. Past BWEs were smooth as silk (the worst was the first hour of BWE1, which they fixed quickly) and actually started early.
It's a Stress Test. As in, purposely testing how much stress the servers can take, so when it's launching for real, this doesn't happen.

It's in the options menu. Just hit ESC, Options, and the bottom right corner of the first thing you see.
