Getting disconnected from the character creation screen every 5 seconds is pretty sweet.

whoa. I'm seeing an enormous fps increase. It is absolutely silky smooth now for me with everything maxed.

Well was able to log in for a few mintutes before it went down again.

Just tested some graphic options. Getting 50fps with most everything on high in Lion's Arch.

OK, this is amazing. Was expecting the above two comments to be slight hyperbole. Got in, and went from having 20-30 FPS all these BWE, to 55+ . Then I stumbled into a zone in the PvP area where like 30-40 people were using all their abilities at once, and it dropped... to about 30 FPS (in previous betas this would without fail put me into single digits). This is AMAZING. I seriously have no words. Tried to go straight to Lion's Arch (the worst-performing city for me), but got disconnected, of course.

My fps was so shitty for the 2 minutes I got to play...like 30fps max on medium settings...
This is with a GTX 460 SE

There's something seriously wrong there, as I got 55+ like mentioned,with everything on max save for shadows... with a 9800 GTX+. You should be locked at 60 with all on max, except for heavy WvW.

Edit: Also, they're rather obviously torturing the servers somehow, as they were perfectly stable in past betas with much more people in (IIRC, this beta is only for people who pre-purchased, i.e. no invitations). Whatever they're doing to them, it has to be seriously painful. XD

Yes, the game use Gamebryo and we are in 2005

I think I know why it doesn't see my password, my GW1 password is 16digits while GW2 system tells you to change your password log in to GW1 account and make the new password between 8-13 digit lol...that could be the conflict...

Sadly, Lion's Arch is still not going that well for me. It's better than before, for sure, but not the dramatic improvement of the Mists Lobby, for example.
