lol.

Okay. I tried it off for the first time and thought it was better. But the intensity in your replay would have convinced me otherwise.

It's a control issue. There's a danger of damaging a creep while auto-attacking, thus pushing a lane towards the enemy. You generally don't want that to happen.

You can play with hold and stuff, but why go through that at all. Just leave it off, and if you want to push a tower not caring about last hits, just click once on a creep and wait until it's dead. Leaving it off just gives you more control of the lane.

Only if you're lazy...

I remember his devo movie. Whats his tag so I can recognize him in game?

I'm 99% sure that kid has to be trolling though, then again KingRaven is the real deal.

I like leaving auto attack on because it forces you to constantly hit stop, or move your hero, or basically do something other than just stare at the creeps waiting for a last hit. It helps me pay attention to the game a bit more.

if your just standing there waiting for last hit, then your doing something wrong.

There was a question some pages back as to why Vengeful Spirit has kind of fallen out of favor in recent times, and I think games such as game 2 there are a perfect illustration as to why. Rubick, Venomancer, Keeper of the Light, Disruptor... support/semisupport heroes who have vastly superior push and teamfight presence, and in some respects have stronger support skills as well (free magic resistance, free mana, free TP, cheap lockdown of multiple heroes, etc). Throw in other similarly compatible AoE options like Dazzle, Pugna, Ancient Apparition, Jakiro, Crystal Maiden, Wisp, Witch Doctor, etc, and the paucity of what Venge offers a lineup that craves that pushing and fighting power becomes ever more clear. You can certainly draft to cover that deficit, but I imagine few wish to given they can get what she lacks IN ADDITION to whatever else they draft. In a more ganking/aura centered lineup, she certainly has her uses.

Fear being greedy with the Song there cost him the life of WR, himself, and his buyback. Can't be stingy with that, especially when it has a cooldown of a minute!

good points, I'd like to add that she has awful range too

It seems like teams have forgotten how to play against the melee hard carry. There's a reason it went out of vogue, but people seem to have forgotten about how to counter it properly, so it's in a bit of a resurgent phase.
Yeah, and in the case of AM, you've heroes like Kunkka or Disruptor who can reel him back in when he attempts to blink out of your gank attempts. EG and that other team that played against him recently (name escapes me at the moment) both figured he was harmless and left him to his own devices for nigh the entire game. Playing to lose in the long run.

Well, that was interesting...
Misery looked really good in the early game, playing really well but eventually got over confident. Hope he didn't punch his monitor...

POTM Bottom lost to it yesterday against Mouz, pretty hard too. Which was surprising because PB had been dominating lately and Mouz had been in a bit of a slump.

Kinda glad I don't have a Vintage Immortal thingy, even though I like Void.

I get enough annoying spam based on my TF2 items, I can't imagine would it would be like with one of these.

Also, I think it sets a bad precedent. Doing something frowned upon can give birth to new, ultra-sought after items? Not too sure about that.

They're not THAT sought out for. So even if you had one, no one is going to pester you about it.

Yeah, there's probably more Timebreakers out there than say, Earbuds. (Speaking of which, someone on /r/Dota2trade this morning was looking to trade an unusual wardog with one of the now unavailable colors for Earbuds. I was considering it.)

Yeah, I would figure that unusual couriers would still be in a much higher demand seeing as the number of them plus the different effects wouldn't be anywhere near 24k in circulation. It's cool that people have a rather unique item but I don't see it being super rare, especially as there's going to be over 1000 items in the game once everyone gets a few sets of items.

Blast has a point though, the next time something like this happens (worse if it's a store bought item), people will be rushing to acquire as many copies as possible in the hopes that they become a limited vintage item.
I think now that it has happened the community are going to be much more thorough with submissions, along with Valve.

Auto attack or not? What do you prefer?

Playing without Auto Attack feels wrong. Animation canceling is so advantageous for last hitting, where all you have to do is click stop. Without Auto Attack, you need to right click spam AND hit stop.

The only benefit to having AA off is the (still) incorrect Hold controls being 'fixed'. For those that dont know, pressing Hold should basically turn Auto Attack off until you do a next action.

Its not only that, there are so many times when you simply dont want to attack if a unit is in range... like if you're waiting in the fog to gank, or when you blink into woods to escape... you don't want your auto attacking revealing you to the enemy

While I agree with you, honestly you should be spamming right click anyway. Standing still while spamming Stop is asking for walk up harass from a nuker/range.

You're wrong on that. The Hold Command works exactly how it's supposed to work.
Then again, it would be pretty cool if they added a keybind for Hold Attack Command

Have been super sleepy so missed most of it, but I catched the end, brood getting a rampage and losing ancient at the same time. Fun to watch.

Anyone else having problems with dota lagging after a while. I think it may be a memory leak or something, It's not network lag.

I don't know if it's the same thing.. But I get a weird thing sometimes where the game doesn't recognize my inputs for a few seconds. The game doesn't lag or freeze or anything, it just acts like I didn't click at all.
