Mouz misreading what they need to commit so badly. Abortive kill on Queen of Pain, abortive kill on Tide, they lose heroes every time.

Seems like they're finally tightening things up, at least.

Jakiro works in a very specific type of line-up and this isn't one of them.

Well, maybe they had pity of Tobi and wanted this game to end fast enough. Who knows. But horrible draft.

I think this really highlights the danger of doing a trilane versus a trilane. Whoever wins the trilane has a massive advantage going into midgame.

Do people queue with the intent to decline all day? I feel like this is some advanced for of trolling I'm being subjected to.

There use to be a group of people that ran a decline script to boycott valve's decision to not put in concede. Not sure if they still do it now that you get like a 2 minute lockout.

I cannot play brood in all pick. I feel like she is a strong draft hero who can only be picked if some conditions are met. She needs that strong pushing lineup or else her split pushing doesn't work very well and 99% of the time when I pick her the other team picks sand king or kotl and just makes my pushing useless. The times when you do have a good lineup she is amazing. I feel like its easier to make sylla or lycan work.

Amp damage slar is useful, especially when you have another physical damage or ganker character on your team. He's not strong enough to carry a team by himself, but he's like a melee mirana in role.

Mirana carries way harder than slardar and doesnt come online as fast. I dont think they are comparable.

Do I get stupid teams just because of bad karma? Or is it because a greater power is training my patience?
Seriously... The game is great and all, but this is annoying. Not a single decent team the whole day.

Is there ever a reason to have two couriers? Especially in the early game? I buy a courier sometimes and then forty seconds later some guy buys a second one.

That strat is called the "not paying attention and wasting gold" strat.

It's pretty common around low-mid tier games but it's not really competitively viable.

Well I notice sometimes people leave a courier by the secret shop and I wonder if like, there might be an advantage in having one at base and one as the SS

In South East Asia, it used to be a real strat when playing No Rune Mode (Which was/is the competitive mode in their region), since you could use multiple couriers to bottle crow better.

Do any of you guys play on US west? I am from Australia and we mostly play on the US west servers so we don't lag too hard. Was wondering if I could GAF party up at some point.

So any word on Australian/Oceanic servers? 300 ping is unplayable for me and i can only use autoattacking heroes. Skill shots are a no go.

I've never heard of no rune mode, link to evidence?

APNP was common yeah, but only in LAN settings with money on the line because it removed a little bit of that random factor. People would rationalize losses saying they only lost because someone got a DD or haste rune.

need loki/thor to confirm/deny rumour

Pinoy dota sometimes runs two couriers for a hero that need constant bottle refills, usually to spam the opponent out of lane

SMM had runes the last 3 years. And that's like the biggest thing Dota related in SEA.

Any tips for Puck? I assume actually hitting people with his ball move is step one.

It's a common combo to launch the ball, shift to it in between a few enemies, use silence immediately, then start ulti. Great for initiation, just make sure you've got backup. Also you'll want mana boots on her. I don't remember what else you pick up for her, maybe scepter? Really depends on what you/your team needs. She's mainly for supporting teamfights and pushing, but she can't do much tower damage herself. If you're lucky it's easy to get some ganks with her early on.

Blink and some mana is all you need to puck.

Nice to see the community has gotten friendlier. Haven't played in a while so I decided to try a few games the last two days. Greeted by "REPORTED FOR BEING NOOB" and other unfriendly insults about my mother, my cock, called a "puta", and I could go on and on. Such a loving community DotA continues to manifest.

Truly no better community in gaming. Not even the COD and Halo fanboys are close to this level of sheer fucking arrogance.

I have no idea how people run into people this awful this often, most of my games go fine and I it's like 1/50 that someone goes psycho and abusive

But it's not hard to see why. In CoD and Halo, a single player cannot ruin an entire game that takes 40min+. People start to feel they waste their time and often times reflect their own issues on other players instead of trying to better coordinate a team.

If you see someone trying to flame you, just use the ignore button and try playing with the other 3 team members...
