Lol at Breaking Bad Insider podcast:

Producer lady: "At the end when Jesse's under the train, we shot separate plates of Aaron Paul and also of the train moving, and cut those pieces out and put them together."

Vince Gilligan: "And you know why we had to do that? Cause he's a pussy. He should've been under the train!"

Also they said they're trying to get Cranston and Aaron on the podcast too (but aren't sure if it'll happen cause of their busy schedules).

Shit, this episode was incredibly tense all throughout. I thought someone would die for sure, namely Todd, but I never expected the kid from the cold open to bite it. (I forgot about him, tbh) Holy fucking shot. I can't believe Todd killed him like that. Shit. Wow.

Indeed... but wasn't he actually an employee of the (legit) fumigation business? He also happens to be a hardened criminal? Or did Mike replace the employees in that business or something

Well they also
come back later to rob the houses they fumigated, or sell the keys/plans to other burglary crews. Sure it's a whole another level of criminal who shoots kids as opposed to robbing tv's, but I guess he has a natural knack to it. :lol

And who knows what he did before that fumigation op, guy could be a serial killer for all we know.

So Breaking Bad is one of those "just one more episode" series....I've been saying that for five episodes now. I'm on season 2 episode 11 and I just started late last night.

Heisenberg is to Walt as Flynn is to Walt jr.

Like father like son... Could Walt jr. Break bad as well? Use his persona to shield his weak core with a strong front? What would jr's moment really be? What would junior need to do to live up to his old man?

And killing skyler because of the breakfast isn't it. As much as itd make a handful of you pre an otter pop sleeve worth in your pants. It's not.

Aaron Paul's been on before. I think I remember him in the Crawl Space podcast, but I'm not sure.

During the ending I was like "This is a lot like Donnie Darko...then Todd waved and I was like "OH SHIT IT'S SO DONNIE DARKO" and then he shot him and I was like "NOT LIKE DONNIE DARKO!!!"

This was posted on another forum

trying that story sync, though someone may find this interesting

THE TRAIN ROBBERY
Tank Capacity: 24,000 Gallons (equivalent of average home swimming pool)
Amount of Methylamine to be Stolen: 1,000 gallons
Replacement Water: 920 gallons
Yield: 74,000 lbs meth
Cash Equivalent: $296 million
Value of the 1963 Great Train Robbery: $58 million

Almost $300mil.....holy shit

Such an amazing ending, and largely because of the great build-up, not only in this episode but ever since Todd was first introduced. He was built up as this relatively meek, yes-sir type of guy, and turns out to be one coldblooded motherfucker.

of course it was. That's why Saul offered it in the first place. That's the whole point of a front. A legit business to hide your crimes

No, the fumigation business was not legit. Recall what Drazgul said (not sure why it's spoiler tagged since it's from a previous episode this season we all saw:).

Sure they were told they had to now stop the shenanigans, but they were picked specifically because they weren't legit, and never caught at it. So I guess in the eyes of the general public they were legit. That doesn't make them non-criminals.

It's "legit" in the sense that they really do fumigate houses. beyond that they do commit crimes, but the business itself does actually function as a pest control operation completely separate from the criminal activity they do on the side

Best part about Todd is he isn't even some loose cannon. Guy did exactly what had to be done in their sordid line of work. He's like a younger Mike, without any of the moral qualms that can come with elderly wisdom.
