Okay I'm still fucking shaking from the adrenaline of that heist and then the ending
but I have one thing to say
the cinematography for tonight's episode was STELLAR.
Absolutely stellar. Some of these shots, man. Wow. One in particular that sticks out in my mind was Walt in the hat standing on the tracks. Also loved the lighting and stuff in a lot of the "business meeting" scenes.

Have an idea what is going to happen. Skyler is going to assume Walt killed the kid. New reports are going to come out saying this is where he always rides his bike by the train tracks. Will be on the news saying he is missing Walt said he was robbing a train. Skyler will off herself or killed by ricin after saying she will tell Hank. Jesse and Mike bounce from this mess some how.

I don't understand Jesse's reaction, honestly. He's the one that explained to Todd that the heist carried a big penalty and that no one could know anything about it. Todd just made a calculated decision based on Jesse's own instructions. No one will know about it. That kid will just go missing. It shouldn't lead to any of them or the heist. It was the right decision, as cruel as it may be.
It just seems extremely naive that Jesse continues to operate under the notion that he can continue to operate in a dirty business and try to keep his hands clean. Even Gale's death was a calculated move. Walt's come to terms with it. Mike and Todd are clearly 'bout dat life. Jesse needs to get realistic or get out of the game with Mike. PEACE.

I never got this response. The ricin is a poison meant to be put in someone's drink etc. It's not something one smokes. It was in a glass capsule inside the cigarette. Doesn't mean someone could smoke the cigarette and die.

Jesse always cared about the kids. Look at peekaboo in season 2 he protected the kid. Then in season 3 Jesse always has the soft spot that is his weakness. This is the moment he will see what where he is. Jesse has enough money to bounce and go away forever.

Its obvious they're going to use this as a wedge between Walt and Jesse. Jesse will hate on it, Walt will see it as the only option and not be as pissed off that it was done. So begins the beginning of the end of the three amigos.
Good ep, I dunno if it was something that was worth building up to (maybe Walt's eventual bust by his bro in law) but definitely fun to watch
in the promo Mike seemed pretty mad at him tho

The only downside of this episode is that it's going to lead to Jesse being an emotional wreck for probably the remainder of this half of the season.

Fuck I blame Jesse and Walt for this almost as much as todd. They were the ones who told him that no one could ever know about the heist. But damn the way he shot him with no hesitation was just crazy. Pretty sure Jesse will be on the exit path after this along with Mike.

Think about it from Todd's point of view. He's helping them steal something that will lead to hundreds of millions of dollars. He's trying to prove himself so he can get a cut. Fucked up but with good reason.

As much as the people whining about Skyler are taking it too far, she's clearly a very bad person.
The thing I loved the most about this episode was that the heist was shot perfectly. The thing I hate about tense scenes like that is that they always show events completely out of sequence. The characters are running out of time and they still haven't finished whatever it is they're doing oh whoops they actually finished a while ago and we just edited this to make it seem at lot closer then it actually was. Every single TV show and movie ever does this. I was fully expecting that to happen here as well, but it didn't and that's great. Happened in this episode twice in fact. As Walt was planting the bug in the picture frame, I fully expected it to already be placed back on the table as Hank returned. Because that's how editing works.
Also, Mike <3. That "Take out my pistol and shoot you in the head" bit. So awesome.

That was exactly what I thought. Todd was looking for an "in".
He views the trio as serious hardcore criminals, which they are, and wanted to show he has the stuff to cut it.
Hell Jessie and Walt gave him a serious, "nobody can know about this...Ever" and Walt even gave him the evil eye and a, "You sure".

I really don't think so. This is the time Walt will bring up Brock. I can see it happening Walt's ego coming out and saying something about giving Brock the plant. Once that happens Jesse will want out and Mr.White gone.
Hmm, I guess I'm in the minority here.
I liked the technical direction and pacing of this episode, and overall think it was tense fun to watch (and the ending effectively resonates), but the amount of logistics to pull of their heist and to do it as well as they did seems like quite the leap. The amount of equipment needed in the seemingly short amount of time they had, knowing what types of lugnuts, locks, and connections on the tanker all seem like good luck. Plus all the broad-daylight shit they were doing seemed risky and haphazard. Just dragging a backhoe out to the middle of nowhere and digging some ditches by the train tracks... yeah....
Also, where'd Walt/Mike/Jesse get that ethernet bug tracker thing for Hank's computer? Still tapping that SkyMall catalog I suppose? And where are they interrogating Lydia? That location was out of nowhere!
Finally, I personally feel like two crime caper episodes in one season is unnecessary, although I'm happy to tuck that opinion away until all the episodes are completed and we can reflect on the series as a whole.
