Yes, and although I consider it one of the best shows of alllll time overall, I think the cinematography is better on this show. Only negative I have about BB is sometimes it gets a bit show-offy. But that's just a testament to how good they are.

Ill admit, I feel that way at times especially this season.BB at times feels like a tryhard show borderline on being hipster with it's cinematography. So I kind of agree with you on that one.

Luckily the plot and characters match it's quality tho

I don't think it's the case, but the show does actually leave open the possibility that Hank knows and let Walt plant the bug. We don't see anything that happens in the office while it's bugged and we're hearing conversations, so for all we know the conversation with the other PD about planting trackers on the barrels was a ruse. I actually found it a bit suspicious, to be honest.

Again, I don't think that's the case, but it is left open by the show.

You may be overthinking it. The darkly hilarious tragedy about Hank is that he is an otherwise competent cop who really is that clueless about Walt. He made up his mind about the guy a long time ago and it's going to take the equivalent of a frying pan to the face to get him to view Walt in another light.

They've been dumping fairly obvious clues on Hank's head since the pilot (where the equipment was stolen from Walt's chem lab), and Hank has yet to put 2 and 2 together, so it'll probably take a major singular event to get through to him rather than a steady accumulation of clues which he tends to just brush off. The irony will be that the major drug chemist will have been right under his nose the whole time, with several clues pointed directly at him, and Hank won't have gotten it until something big and potentially tragic happens.

Hank has noticed something different about Walt, but the only thing he went as far as to suspect was Walt having an affair, and when Marie switched that around it basically reset Hank's suspicions about Walt and he viewed him as even more of a sad sap.

I may be analyzing this a little too much, but did Walt deliberately give up Jesse's name to Todd, or was it already no big deal?

The German word for death is Tod.

Fuuuuuuuuuuuck.

And he's dressed in black.

You did notice the part where I said I didn't think it was the case, right?

Also that post had nothing to do with the conversation about what Hank does or does not know about Walt, though I see how you connected it.

One of my favorite episodes so far but why would walt plant the bug without gloves? his fingerprints are all over them, in hank's office

In real life, it wouldn't be very likely that prints could be retrieved from something like that. Prints are left on flat surfaces that must be large enough to accommodate enough of a print to match it to something. The bigger question is why Walt insisted on getting the full 1000 gallons (or however much it was) instead of just quickly recalculating the amount of water needed to replace a lower amount (800 something) that circumstances should have dictated he be content with. Was that last 150 gallons really so necessary as to risk fucking everything up?

For Heisenberg - yes.

There is no stopping the money train.

Around the end of the episode I had a small moment where I imagined next week they would have to babysit the kid and hold him prisoner or something. Something lighthearted and darkly comedic. Todd certainly ended that idea. Can't even imagine what next week will be like as I don't watch any preview material.

fucking Landry.... the kid probably thought they fixed the train or something.

I think, in retrospect, the danger is less the kid ratting them out and more the kid potentially poking around the containers in the future. Their heist was abnormal because they're going to have to return to the scene of the crime, over and over, to siphon off the methalymine a bit at a time. A kid is bound to be curious about what was in those hoses, maybe bring a few friends out, maybe just pry open a container and fail to properly seal it, who knows.

So I can actually see Walt not understanding why Jesse is about to melt down over this; I think Landry just ended Walt and Jesse's friendship.

Here's hoping for a Mike & Jesse vs Walt & Todd face-off.

Just finished watching...that ending!

This is why I consistently say this is the best show on TV. Fantastic!

amazing. todd was such a fucking champ as well. fucking hell todd.

Also Walts bragging to skylar of a train robbery, whoooops.

Yeah that bug Walt placed on Hank's computer is huge. How could someone not notice that eventually?

how often does an office person look at their lan cable?

Can someone please explain to me what Walt means when he talks about Victor at the end of the third episode of this season?
"Flew too close to the Sun"? Walt is suggesting that Gus killed Victor because, maybe, he knew too much and therefore posed a threat. It could be seen as a threat to either Jesse or Mike, imo, as if they shouldn't try and rival Walt in any way. But it could also be indirect commentary on Walt himself.

Every time the IT guy gets called in because the internet tubes need shaking.

Ah ok thanks.

Seemed harmless at the time, but after she hears "Little boy shot dead near train tracks"...? I can already see the scene playing out between them.

Finding his body is likely but if they say on the news he is lost before hand that will be so much worse. Plus Skyler already said digging more bodies to Walt because of his pants.

Wait.... I guess they'll just bury him elsewhere. So never mind. That was my first thought, too. Leaving him there wouldn't make any sense.

I think it'd be a long shot to connect a missing boy with a train robbery, especially since the tracks probably won't even be mentioned.

There is like zero chance Mike will let the kid be found anywhere near those tracks; even if they ultimately let the kid be found somewhere, it won't be right next to the tank of stolen chemicals.

Edit: beaten

His parents must have some sort of idea where he always rides his bike. Plus the white knight was driving Bill Burrs character to the town near by. It is a little kid too the news will go crazy for a white boy missing. When that hits the news Skyler can piece all the details together.

No one is going to notice the train robbery it is all about this little boy.

its dealt with in the preview for the next ep
not sure where they buried him but they did as you could see his fingers in the sand while they were doing it

They're never gonna find that kids body. Mike will make him "disappear" like he threatened to do with Lydia.

If he disappears there'll be a search and the desert will be combed, probablyh pretty quicklike, how are they gonna get their crime stuff out of there?

Also there'll be pleas on the news and whatnot, I wouldn't be surprised if skyler sees the news coverage she might needle walt about it and walt trying to antagonize and dominate her could tell her exactly what happened.

Walt is trying to suggest to Jesse that Gus killed Victor because Victor was overstepping his bounds, particularly in trying to cook meth. I don't believe it for a second, I think it was mostly a demonstration to Walt and Jesse alongside of getting rid of the guy who was seen at the scene of Gale's shooting. Walt was trying to plant seeds in Jesse's mind.

Without any further info I'm assuming that's what the "dead" truck is for. Flip the kill switch and drive off. The police won't even consider the kid missing for 48 hours.

I see her just assuming it was him. Her first comment when he came in the house with dirt on the knees was were you digging bodies. Then all of the sudden he comes right back with going to steal a train. Once she sees Walt will harm kids she will honestly bail the fuck out to save her daughter and son. That means even going to Hank.

Yeah, I forgot about the delay. I guess that'll work.

I'm not sure she will, I don't think she'll want to believe it, even with all she thinks about Walt now I think that would be a tough pill to swallow and if the kid is just missing it's easy to dismiss, it's not like an explosion or some element of the criminal underworld turning up dead, just some random kid. If they somehow make a link between the kid and the train then yeah I could see it happening, otherwise I don't think she'll suspect walt of it.

I feel like you just rephrased what I said, with a little more detail. ;)

Random thing can be any little thing especially
Jesse back in Walt's house talking about it if it happens. Skyler walking in on them plus seeing Jesse once again.
Sort of a spoiler because of the promo and half a guess.

We need less Mike, he's just the same action movie or detective show hard ass that we've seen a million times. We need more Saul, more Sky, more family dynamics in general, and for fuck's sake more Jesse.

More Jesse, less Mike.

I was thinking the same thing. Mike has definitely stole a lot of screen time from Jesse. We only saw him in like one to a few scenes alone this season?
