I don't know how anal your systems department is, or how locked down your computer is, but unless there have been changes to it, Chrome installs on PCs at my work without having to beg an admin to come over and "let you."

Just thought I'd pass it along. No idea if that'll get you in crap, or if it'll work for you (most installations -- even stuff like Flash or Java that want to autoupdate -- fail due to admin restrictions), but it might be worth a shot to break free from IE.

yeah, this is how it is at my work too. i'm not sure if you are allowed to have it on here, but i didn't need admin access to install chrome.

We've got some Onlive type stuff at work now. There's a huge server in the building where all the processing is done and all we have is this micro console thing sitting on the desk.

Yeah, they're emailed to you and they show up in one of the boxes in the Perks menu in the bottom right corner.

I just signed up for this yesterday, but everything's pretty confusing to me.

Basically just do the trivia and the challenges to get XP. Every month, they announce new perks and you apply for them via the perk menu.
