That's what I was always thought. But I have also read theories that they leave it for you because they consider you an incompetent hunter. A cat will leave dead pray for her kittens too, to teach them hunting and killing, and that could be the same reason the cat leaves it for you.

Haha, one of our cats used to capture live mice and bring them in for us because she CLEARLY thought we were like kittens and needed to be taught the proper way of hunting.

Bianca doesn't know the first thing about hunting though. I've never even seen her get into hunting stance. She just kind of leaps after things.

Only cat I've owned was a black cat, he died in 06. Still miss him , he was so affectionate and playful.
