Yeah no problem dude. Just helping out. I learned about how to pay through IPLAYWINNER's guide but there were some minor changes. I tried it myself and got through it with no problems. Too bad my credit card company doesn't update their online services so I can't pay any more points til the changes. I will make my 500 points count by paying for the finals. :(
 
That grand finals set in the UMVC3 team tournament had some amazing play (and adaptation) from Justin.


Looking forward to UMVC3 singles tournament tomorrow.
 
Just got back to my hotel after day 1of Revelations tournament. The venue was pretty empty. This rest of the weekend is going to be rough.

The SF X T pot was supposed to be 5 grand. they announced at the venue that it would be 500 dollars instead. Alledgedly EG (Ricky, Rog and Justin) were angry about this.


But you havent heard them say anything about it on twitter. In fact you had Justin and FChamp plug Revelations constantly yesterday.

I kinda prefer to see them not make a big deal about it and still plug the tournament for the scene. Even though I am sure it sucks and makes TL look a tad unprofessional (since even their site still has a $5k pool listed as guaranteed), it makes those EGers look classier.

(i.e. not trying to ruin the tournament's reputations permanently like a lot of other fgc outlets are doing this week)

Yeah, but think of all the players suffering SFxT for a shot at only $350 or so. They need to pay more for people play that game.

No doubt it is whack. I just think enough PR damage is being done as is. You're right, though; It would especially suck if SFxT was something you put a lot of work into.
 
My guess is Champ and all of them were paid to promote Revelations and aren't getting paid for that either. Don't know why they're scared to blow that up though when they'll pretty much say anything else on their twitters.

Also it confuses me how an organization can have such a shady reputation and still drawn in pros/vets.

Because they put out money to a select few and those select few promote it. I'll be honest Champ and Justin fucked up. They took money to promote TL even though they knew it was a shady ass organizer. Looks like all they cared about is getting their piece of the cake.

And I'm pretty sure they knew what they were getting themselves into. While Champ was promoting Revelations, his roommate Shady K was poking fun at Revelations.
