That should be enough for a EotN armor set.I don't think I ever bought anything through playing all the campaigns and ended up with about 70k. Probably enough for one armour set![]()

2. Names you reserve are held for 24 hours after you delete them, giving you plenty of time to go back and remake the character the way you want without fear of someone grabbing your name while you're in character creation. You don't have to wait for anything to use the name again.
Could you give more details, please? I can't afford new peripherals anyway and I just got my first mechanical keyboard but I'd like to know the advantages of playing with a G13.Read a few reviews about it with GW2 and it sounds like it's more comfortable than a regular KB and that's all I'm looking for.
Here's the armor skins from the BLTP, from a video Dontain released today. GW1 represent.

Went ahead and ordered the G13, decided to save a few bucks and go for free shipping so might not get it by launch. Every place around me had it for $10-20 more than Amazon.

Stupid question time... I don't necessarily need to delete the character immediately after he's been created to keep its name for 24 hours, right? I mean, if I create the character, come back a week later and then erase him, would I still have 24 hours to create another one with the same name?
Could you give more details, please?? I can't afford new peripherals anyway and I just got my first mechanical keyboard but I'd like to know the advantages of playing with a G13.
Thank you!Its 24 hours from the moment you delete him.
I hadn't noticed that thumb stick. Looks neat! I do have problems moving and using skills with the keyboard. By the way, I'm not left-handed, but, out of curiosity, can you reattach it to the G13's left side? For me - it simply allows freedom of movement and unties 3 fingers from movement. I map WASD to my thumb - since - hey - thumb is for JUMP? Why not let my thumb do all the moving for me? That's 1 analog stick and 8 directions my thumb now controls instead of my 3 fingers.
For me it was always rough using my ring, middle and index finger to move/activate abilities in MMOs - now I have 4 fingers laying across anything I want.
So say I want to move up/right and activate "5" at the same time with a standard keyboard... my middle finger and index were tied up moving WD - or perhaps I'd have to re-adjust my fingers just to hit "5" - or perhaps not readjust and stop strafing with D and just hit 5.
With a gaming keypad like G13/(the lesser)Nostromo - I can move any direction I want and activate any skill I want at the same time.
Not to mention macros. So for my Ele, for example, I can macro specific keys to swap attunements and activate an ability directly after with one keystroke instead of 2. Makes for faster swapping/activation of abilities. Same for weapon swaps.
Lots of possibilities - the G13 allows for your own custom scripting, as well, not just macros. Powerful device.

If you're not left handed you probably won't have to. It's meant to take the place of your keyboard and you still have a mouse in your right hand. So moving the thumbstick to the left side would mean you'd control it with your pinky ... unless I'm missing something here!I hadn't noticed that thumb stick. Looks neat! I would kill for armors like these:
I hate spikes, demonic helms or fuckhuge armors that look like they're made for bears. I want my Guardians or Warriors to look like fucking knights. Same for the weapons, most of them look too baroque in my opinion.
Can someone here provide me the link that was originally in this post to the web version of the BLTP? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thanks! So apparently upgrading from standard to DDE via the BLTC is going to cost $5 more than if you had purchased the DDE from the get go. 2000 gems. Log in, go to the Upgrades tab.
**Removed link. I don't like that it's a redirect.
Dammit, bought the game - What have I done?!
Is it right that when you find an armor skin you like you can somehow swap higher stats onto it?

Compare that Primeval with the GW1...
I think they both are ugly, but GW1 looks slightly better.

I think the GW1 version looks a lot better. Still gaudy, impractical, and pretty silly....but not as bad as the GW2 version. The colors look a lot better in the GW1 version as well. I think if the GW2's shoulders were scaled wayyyyyy down it would be a lot better.
Hopefully its a display bug...cause those shoulders look horrible in the GW2 primeval armor.
Remember, it's being modeled on a Norn Male - everything is a bit more larger proportion-wise, on those characters. I bet on a human, it's not quite as overbearing.I think the GW1 version looks a lot better. Still gaudy, impractical, and pretty silly....but not as bad as the GW2 version. Yea, the shoulders look weird and it also looks like the pants, are tights not pants.

We've won IGN's People's Choice award! Thanks to everyone who voted! http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/08/20/the-winner-of-the-ign-peoples-choice-award-is ~RB2
Yeah, all the relevant info seems to be on their Twitter and Facebook. So I get an email today from Arenanet titled 5 Days Left until Guild Wars 2 Headstart Begins! Last Chance to Buy to get in the Game Early. Shouldn't they stop sending me emails like this once I've registered? I pre-purchased the game at GMG on July 25, registered my code, and got a confirmation email.
It doesn't help that their account page is really light on information. I can log in, but there's nothing saying that I have access to headstart or that I've pre-purchased the game at all. It's a little frustrating.

Hooray at winning IGN. My vote was not wasted![]()

I'm a big fan of the Elite Luxon and Asuran warrior armors.Sunspear one of the better Warrior armors in GW...
I don't intend to do that (when I do buy a G13), I just wanted to know if it was lefties-friendly. Since the device looks almost symmetrical, it'd be stupid to have to make a dedicated model for left-handed people. If you're not left handed you probably won't have to. It's meant to take the place of your keyboard and you still have a mouse in your right hand. So moving the thumbstick to the left side would mean you'd control it with your pinky ... unless I'm missing something here!
(plus I don't think you can change sides for the stick)

It's posts like these that make me remember why I was a console gamer for so long. The keyboard just isn't the best button set up out there. Consoles moving towards dual-analog and FPS made them gain the same PC problem of not being able to move, turn, and hit buttons at the same time.
Should we make a new thread about GW2 winning that award?Hooray at winning IGN. My vote was not wasted![]()

If you played in any BETA or Stress Test then you know that you will have early access.
That's what gets me too. If you look hard enough at Asuran architecture in general in Rata Sum and the surrounding areas, you'll notice that they are definitely going for the "Techno-Mayan" look, which really speaks to me.There's a vague vibe of Mayan/Aztec patterns in Asuran armor and clothes. I'm really digging it.

Aren't you forgetting about something?I was going to post for everyone to keep in mind these are kind of low-res pics with no dyes applied; armor always looks bad in these colors.
