The tarantula jar factoring in as evidence would be the most ridiculous coincidence this show ever had if they actually did that. Why on earth would they even dust it for prints?

Dean Norris as George.- Quick parody video: Jesse Pinkman at the dinner table, Seinfeld-style (youtube)
EDIT: Sony made them take it down. I'll see if I can track down another copy somewhere.
it's not really heartbreaking if he loses though, I expect it. This show can't really end any other way lol. As long as the ending is glorious/.It's perfectly fine to root for Walt.
But be ready for some really heartbreaking shit if you do.
Dean Norris as George.
Bwahahaha.
Why would police take the tarantula jar as evidence?
Also I've never heard about parents having their child's fingerprints or DNA registered, or at least, I haven't heard about most parents doing this.
They've only used it twice really (proving Lydia lied, making sure the DEA was off Mike's tail for a while. Mike checked it one other time that we saw beyond that and it was like a 20 second shot) and I don't see how it's lazy. It's convenient for Walt, but that doesn't mean it's lazy storytelling. Hell, it's amazing he's gone this far without actively monitoring Hank. A kingpin with a brother-in-law in the DEA deciding to bug him isn't exactly a big leap to make.As much as I love the season so far, I really dislike Hank's phone is bugged plot device which they've exploited a few times in the most recent episodes. It's surprisingly lazy story telling from Gilligan and company.
Walter is going to be the one to kill Hank, he has to be.
What's this about Walt's watch? Isn't it in his pocket?
OK, maybe I missed something, or maybe I'm just stupid, but I don't get why everyone is saying "Hank will notice the watch!" Hank already took note of Walt's watch when Walt wore it in his office. Is it that you think he'll find it at a crime scene or in some other implicating context or something? They do seem to be making a "thing" of it...
Hopefully the writers didn't forget that they hinted at Walt's cancer returning last season (we never received a definitive answer to Walt's test results, either). I expected the writers to allude to the results by this time, but even by Walt's 52nd birthday it looks like he's still cancer-free. Pretty lame red herring if the writers completely ignore the hinting and prodding they did in season four.
Is the next episode the last one of part 1?
Care to elaborate? You must have missed several important details in the first cold opening of the fifth season.
How bitter would some of you be if the final scene of this show, Walt lives but knowing Hank would stumble onto the scene of his latest wreckage (which lets face it, there will be one), he leaves Hank a clue, like the watch. And then it all hits him and the Saw music starts playing. And then it just fades to black.

he is in it for respect. Not the money. He feels he deserves more.I still can't believe Walter White would reject $5 million. What exactly does he need so much money for? His ego?

Why would he stop now? He's in the best place he's been so far in the meth business. He is the boss. He's got nothing to worry about (lol).he is in it for respect. Not the money. He feels he deserves more.

and like he said, he has already lost just about everything else in life. So the train keeps a going. Why would he stop now? He's in the best place he's been so far in the meth business. He is the boss. He's got nothing to worry about (lol).
The other replies pretty much took care of this question, but yeah definitely for his ego. He's power hungry. He wants an empire where he has control, like he would have had he stuck with Grey Matter. Also he doesn't want to make the same mistake twice. He wants to be the best at his game as he can be.I still can't believe Walter White would reject $5 million. What exactly does he need so much money for? His ego? He has become a complete drug lord.
the ultimate twist would be if Jesse was a DEA agent the entire time
last conversation:
*jesse catches walt*
Walt: ...how long have you been an agent?
Jesse: Let me ask ya somethin', Mr. White
Walt: ....?
Jesse: When did ya start thinking that I wasn't an agent? First time you saw me, I was escaping 'em. Didn't you think that was like, to easy, yo?
