Ginacarlo for best supporting (I like jesse but gus WAS season 4)

SkySky for best actress

Vinicint Gilligan for best director

Tio for best returning character? (forgot the full name)

Also a few guys on the podcast are up for executive producers of the year....wo....they might actually take all of the awards this year.

Man I love this show so much. If they are able to close this show out with the kind of confidence we are seeing in every episode, I think it might be the best series I have ever seen.

I just noticed that Skyler was in a Season 4 episode of Six Feet Under as a single mother who Nate hooks up with before she kicks him out of her house.

The very thought that it will probably ratchet up even more as the second half goes on blows my mind. Because I'm already mad hyped about every upcoming episode.

Bryan Cranston should quite easily win his 4th in a row but the only reason I have any doubts at all is because it would be his 4th in a row. Don't know if the people who choose the awards have the balls to let the best keep winning.

They gave it 4 times in a row to that guy from NYPD blue.

Esposito should easily win that Emmy. Aaron Paul was good as always, but Gus deserves the recognition as one of the best television villains of all time. His performances were god tier and brought the show to another level. Seriously, go back and watch season 4. This season is great, but I still don't think it has yet to match the intensity of last season.

I agree, but I think one can argue that Jesse had more range and a more varied arc that season, while Gus was mostly pure evil from start to finish.

season four might've been good if i could remember anything that happened inbetween the premiere and crawl space

- I am the one who knocks.

- Jesse's monologue in Problem Dog

- Gus telling Walt to plant the bug.

- Flashback of Gus in Mexico.

- Walt and Jesse's fight

- Walt blowing up the car he purchased for Junior.

- Gus poisoning members of the cartel

All of the above were events that happened in between Box Cutter and Crawl Space.

my girlfriend got some decoration ideas for the computer room.

i'm pretty happy with it.

I had the pleasure of watching this show spoiler free from season 1-4, about a month before 5 started. One of the best shows on television.

You know, apart from some episodes here and there, I've never actually sat down and rewatched the series after they first aired. I think after this half wraps up, I'll start from the beginning and watch one episode per week. By the time I'm done, the second half of season 5 will start.

This was the best episode of the season for me.

I introduced my girlfriend to Breaking Bad, and we're up to the beginning of the 2nd season, where Skyler finds out about Walt's second cellphone, and at one point at the end of an episode, Walt goes to kiss her goodnight and she turns away and the episode ends. I see out of the corner of my eye my girl is shaking her head, and I ask "What?"

So she goes, "that sucks, but I don't really like her". Now, I've never liked Skyler but I never understood why, and earlier in this thread I said it's just the way she looks, and she agreed. She says everyone else in the show is reasonably attractive, she says Walt Jr. is a good looking kid, Walt looks like he was very attractive when younger, etc. but that the producers dropped the ball with Skyler and make it hard to sympathize with her.

Keep in mind this is before SFT and her bitchiness afterwards. So it's not just guys who don't like Skyler. I just found it funny that I had never even mentioned the fact that some people don't like Skyler for some reason, she just...felt it. Out of nowhere.

My gf has been rooting for Skyler to catch a bullet since the first or second episode of season 1.

Sometimes I genuinely am curious how many folks who've seen the wire, saw it after the fact.

I would have heard about it a lot earlier if it had been nominated for an emmy. Stumbling on The Wire is what got me back into television. If I hadn't seen The Wire I would never have sought out shows like Breaking Bad.

Gus was amazing, but Jesse had its best moments in Season 4, i think.

I'm sure a large percentage saw it after, I usually never watch a show until it's 3-4 seasons deep at least and I have multiple friends swear by it. (Can't even think of ten shows I like even counting done/canceled). I picked it up at the start of season 3 much like how I started watching breaking bad live in season 4.

That doesn't excuse emmy voters.
