Were you a late baby? Early baby? C-section? Problematic birth? Let's hear it.

I was a late c-section baby. I just wanted to stay in that warmth and be left alone.

I was a blue baby. Congenital heart defect, needed open-heart surgery :(

Edit: oh, but thank god for Canadian health care!

Dunno, but my kid was induced at 40 on the dot.

It looked like it hurt, and the woman in the next room screamed like she was being stabbed to death.

According to my mother, I was right on time, was an easy birth, and rarely cried during my first year. I guess I made up for it later on in my teens when I became an unruly little asshole.

My brother and I were easy natural births. I was right on time too with a hilarious story that is exactly similar to a I Love Lucy episode.

I was supposed to have an even older brother but he died before he was born when my mom had a problem

my mother would never consider an abortion but claims to approve of them legally because "they would just get them illegally in back alleys".

ok that's it that's everything surrounding my birth.

First born. I consumed my twin in utero. It was explanation they could find for the fact that one week there was two things floating around the next ultrasound there was one. Every birthday I throw myself a silent party, in remembrance of it and in celebration of me winning the battle.

I was a ten lbs seven oz. After 27 hours of labor, the doctors realized A I was too big to fit out of the vagina and B. she was dying. I almost killed my other due to our blood mixing. She needed to have an emergency c-section so they could rip me out and pump my mom full of drugs. My testicles were swollen to the size of a man's fist and the color of dark clay red. It's a great picture, big balls little baby penis.

Every mother's day I have to apologize for what I did to her stomach. I'm sure she's not angry still, but I can't tell.

C-section. Dunno why. Though apparently my mom had a really painless birth than normal compared to other mothers who went through C-section? Not really sure about the complications of C-section.

I was late, and there were problems. I was born with Sprengel's deformity (basically my left shoulder was connected to my spine and had to be taken off and reattached) Klippel-Feil Syndrome (some of my upper vertebra are fused or partially fused) and hydrocephalus (essentially my head was swollen with fluid to the size of a 4 month old baby).

My parents were told I may never sit up, crawl, stand up, walk, or run. I may never speak. I may have brain damage. And I probably wouldn't live to see age 5.

They were a bit pessimistic.

I was removed via C-section.

I feel this has crippled me in a way.

Late C-section baby with complications that ended up leading to my mother's death a week after the procedure.

Sorry to hear that, dude.

My brother and I were both C-sections.

My wife and I have had five children. All natural, though slightly early 36-37 weeks.

The youngest was our only scary birth. The umbilical chord was wrapped around the child's neck, twice. The doctor was amazing to watch, I saw the initial look of shock followed by how quickly she and the room sprang into action. It was one of the scariest moments in my life.

I was born a week late and in a tub at a hospital.

I also didn't cry but did weird babbling instead. I stayed quiet forever.

gaborn i love you

Despite the fact that people are babies when born I always get a chuckle out of seeing a tiny little mom and a huge fucking dude who's her son.

Haha, this was me as well.
I wonder if my mom would have preferred the painful birth over the painful teen years.

I was a late baby.

My son was a late baby, so they induced...HOLY FUCK, that was a hell of a ride for the next 20 hours cause that little fucker wouldnt come out.

I then WATCHED my wife have a C-Section. After being told "You wont see anything, youll just see her head and we will have the area draped off"...I saw it all!

I always tell my wife "Ive seen parts of you you will never see, and they are EVERY different color!"
Seriously, shit was red, blue, green, etc..ICK!

Nah man, don't be sorry. You sound like you had a much harder time than I did. Glad that you were able to pull through it.

As one gaffer once said, I missed my only chance of contact with vagina.

But on a serious note, I've read some studies that people born via C-section are affected psychologically. They're prone to being anti-social and avoidant.
