Hell yes. Betty la fea, our biggest export (ok, second biggest export), there were like a millon versions all over the world, including Germany, Russia, Israel, the list goes on and on.
One of the very few instances we had gay characters in a telenovela in Colombia, unfortunately it was only this walking stereotype and a horrible person that no one could like. But at least they showed a gay bar, I think that was a first in Colombia.

My mom is obsessively watching this novela, she even learned how to get on the televisa website to watch the episodes she misses when she can't watch live. Thats almost all she knows, facebook for the family and friends, twitter for the news, and the vods of her novelas.
And then she spends the morning watching the recaps on "hoy" anyway.

Betty la fea really is THE best telenovela ever!!!!
I can't compare it to Uggly Betty since I didn't really watch that but at least it doesn't look like a cheap parody like the Mexican version.
Also Venezuelan telenovelas have always been very successful abroad, even though they don't make as many now because of the economic situation and also because Chavez shut down RCTV which used to make the best ones.

I'm at Toronto's FanExpo (it's our version of ComicCon) and sprinkled amidst the unwashed masses and terrible cosplayers are some real hotties. Nothing sexier tha a beefy geek in a tight Avengers tshirt.

Yeah. I live out in Georgetown. Went to the expo cuz my younger cousin and his friends wanted to go and they needed a chaperon. I don't go to Toronto much except for special occasions.

Wow another Toronto gaffer? Awesome. Ubisoft has a great exhibition at FanExpo: single and multi player demos of AC3 and playable demo of ZombieU which looks amazing btw.
Oh nice, makes me wish I had considered going if only to see the gamepad for myself (I don't foresee a Wii-U in my future any time soon). Did you play anything?

GTA sup!
I played Halo4. It felt alright. Nothing fancy. I wish my sensitivity wasnt so damn high though. I only played for ten minutes (did alright and best k/d/r on my team but we lost). It didn't feel like CoD to me so I was satisfied.
Im no Halo fanatic anymore though. Halo 1 LAN and Halo 2 Xbox live days are over for me. So I dont give a rats arse bout the multi (but the kiddie bunch with me did). Im more interested in story/coop now.
Graphics btw... very tight.
I watched some peeps play God of War Ascension. And that has to be the best looking console game ive ever seen. Beats GoW3 in my books and uncharted2/3. Gameplay looked good too
My friend said they are contemplating adding a "horde" mode for coop so id like that.Holy shiiiit. More GTA people.
