Maybe it's just me but I found episode 6 a lot more exciting than 5, even though I loved both of them
I agree. It seems like all the hype surrounding Dead Freight from the cast was due to how ambitious of an episode it was (which was warranted) — not because of some crazy ass shit going down, like most people were expecting. Yes, Spider-Kid happened, but a bunch of people here were expecting a main character to bite the dust or something.

Still, I recall Aaron Paul referring to this first half of the season as a
"bloodbath"
(not really a spoiler, just a speculative hype-word) in some behind the scenes footage, and nothing that can fit that description has really happened yet, so... shit's going down either this week or next (or both).

I think the hype behind episode 5 was more about how it sets the big stuff up for the rest of the show; Jesse wants out, Walt's gone full on nut tree and Todd's actions are sure to cast an even longer lasting shadow over everything (on top of the fact that he's still probably going to directly be casting shadows on some fools by the end of this half). Episode 6 was more exciting for me too, but 5 was the big push in how we got there and where we're headed

Take your bets!

Mike will die in tonight's episode or the next episode. 90%
Walt Jr. will commit suicide or be killed. 30%
Hank finding out about Walter next episode. 70%

I think that anyone who believes that it's assured that Hank will find out about Walt this season or that next season will start with Walt being 52 might be in for a surprise.

This is Breaking Bad we are talking about here. I would almost guarantee we have no idea what's coming.

That's what makes the speculation so fun!
