Oh man, if he were going back to
save Jesse from the meth life that he so desperately wanted to get away from and risk being found himself and/or killed
that would definitely be very baw worthy. I'm emotional just thinking about it.

We have no idea if Todd knows "people who can orchestrate 9 murders across multiple prisons". Or even how, if at all, Walt plans to use them. He did just score a big bag of free money, after all. Continuing to pay Mike's people off, perhaps even giving them more money, would be more effective and raise less glaring red flags. Todd's people could merely be used as an incognito mode of communication.

He also risked getting caught getting that bag to Mike. All Mike had to do was give him some names. Mike's cockiness and his shit attitude toward Walt cost him. He acted like a professional but it was his decision that cost him with the police. Walt had nothing to do with that lawyer getting caught. Mike was going to get caught whether Walt continued the business or not.

Even if the plan is to kill all 9 guys, I'm sure he'd bring Lydia on it. That was her original plan. It would definitely be a team effort.
 
I don't understand this 'moral' talk. People are sad to see Mike dead not because he 'was a good person,' but rather because he was an awesome character to watch.

Mike made the mistake of not killing Lydia when he had the chance (then Walt wouldn't have someone else to get the names from!). Though Mike also didn't think Walt would shoot him just because Walt was pissed...



Next week when the feds go to investigate Mike, Hank will see something in the bushes. Bend over to pick it up. Looks at it closely. It's the watch that fell out of Walt's pocket.

We saw in the season opener that Walt was taking pills and coughing.
Saving Jesse could be his way of repenting before it's too late. Better still, since Walt is fond of giving people choices, he could save Jesse, admit to Jane, Brock, and Mike, and then give Jesse some selfless options "A: Let me die slowly, naturally, and agonizingly. B: Turn me in. C: Take this gun and kill me."

The final scene could be Jesse's choice. Or the picture could go black and we'd get a movie the following summer.

So, i didn't read all the posts on this episode... so maybe this was already mentioned but, did anyone else get the impression that there was a camera in Hank's office?

Damn. I was going to re-watch and check if it was.

Next episode will start with a reminder of the cold opening (which is a foreshadow of the last episode of the series), but break down one of the 'assumptions' we had the first time we saw it. Then stuff will happen with Jesse, with the "8". Then I still think somehow a light bulb will go off above Hank's head about who Heisenberg is.


Was there anything in those photos Hank was staring at in that meeting (other than Mike)?
 
Let's talk about Walt's thought process before killing Mike for a second.

Couldn't he have just gone up to the car and then just pointed the gun at Mike first and ask for the names instead of straight up shoot him?

Mike pointed out Walt's ego problem and his stupid actions but was that really enough for him to just straight up shoot him?

Holy shit though. That preview gave nothing away either. I am still banking on Skyler dying some how and Walt going on the run. The crazy what if is Hank and Jesse teaming up.

Hell the moment the AV club didn't get a screener I knew it meant a major character death.

I loved Mike still bullied Walter one last time before going. Poor guy should have let the time bomb go off.

The second you saw the gun, you knew what was going to happen. I kept thinking, "Don't do it, Walter, don't do it!".

I got chills when Mike's body fell down.

Well I will miss Mike in this show. He was a great character. Not going to get in the debate of what kind of person he was. But he was one of my favorite characters on this show. Can't believe we only have one more episode this year. Shit.
