Did you even read Persp's post?

Did you even read my post?

People need to stop hrming and asking if anyone has read and just watch this great match.

I WILL AT LUNCH STOP SWEATIN ME

I am hyped to watch it though. Just 2+ more hours and I get my fix. My Bootaaay FIX!

why does Cody think he doesnt have to wait in line? he thinks he can just cut in front of everybody else?

He was caught dashing to the front in 2011. I think it's time Cody and us move beyond his dashing phase.

If you were to shoot on wrasslegaf it would be like Perry Saturn's shoot - nothin but positivity. We're good folks, goddammit!

You two need to get your match happenin. Any chance of you recording it Fex?

So it'll be the 'Official' match on UMVC3?

LOL I need to practice a bit man.

Keep it privato! But no rush, just as long as you guys get it done before Sunday Sunday Sunday!

Still waitin' on Fallingedge to accept my friend request so we can get our Virtua Fightans on. I'll be triumphant and give him a nice avatar.

Yeah sure sure.

Man I feel like complete shit, I need to go eat something but I gotta wait for a whole hour before leaving ...FUCK.

Oh wait maybe a half hour.

Was reading an article on NFL.com about fantasy football and came across this:

But I guess this a good time to get into SummerSlam. Which to me, was like paying $60 for a three-hour version of RAW. Oh wait, RAW is already three hours. And it's weird to say, but the right people won in SummerSlam. Brock Lesnar won. CM Punk retained the title. Daniel Bryan won. The only complaint was Alberto Del Rio didn't win. And as Brandon Stroud points out here, how is Del Rio the bad guy again? ...

But before we get too happy, I hope you all realize CM Punk will lose to the Rock at the Royal Rumble. And the Rock will hold the belt for Wrestlemania and he will face the Rumble winner John Cena. ...

And Triple H is going to get his win back over Lesnar at Wrestlemania, too. I know we'd all like to see the Undertaker beat Lesnar, but come on, that's not happening. It will be Triple H. ...

lol, definitely not something I expected to see in an NFL.com fantasy football article

I wish there were a WWE Fantasy League. You get a FAVE FIVE and can barter between others for stats on PPV performances and weekly shows.

I was looking at some Kane and Undertaker matches. I remember Kane made his first appearance in a match that was taking place with Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker but can't remember when exactly was the first match between Kane and Undertaker. Was it the match at Wrestlemania?

Actually, the author is big WWE fan, not the first mention of WWE on nfl.com.

Everyone picks Cena, Orton, Sheamus, Funkasaurus and Ryback.

EVERYBODY WINS!

Yeah, it was Wrestlemania XIV.

Punk getting opened up was basically the only thing interesting about that match. It also provided the only reason to actually cheer for Lawler. Without that, he hit a few punches that Punk sold like crazy and that was it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they managed to keep the two from a match all the way up to Wrestlemania XIV.

how do fantasy leagues work anyway?

You pick shit, with NFL and other major sports there's not many competitors to pass around which lets you assemble a whole team - but the people you pick are tracked via stats and you work that shit out. It was always too much micro for me.

All wrestling around there isn't nearly the glut of people to choose from, so maybe restricting people to tag teams is best if that happened.

SURELY someone out there has done this.

Will Rock be a part-time WWE champion when he wins the belt? I can't imagine him showing up at every Raw and defending the title at Elimination Chamber, what with GI Joe promo ramping up at the same time...

Thanks guys. It was Wrestlemania 14. My memory was so vague. I remember I was 11 years old when that match took place. And I was scared as hell when those two fought to the point I went to sleep and didn't watch the main event which was Shawn Michaels versus Stone Cold for the WWF Championship lol

Having Rock get a title match at the Rumble is just really weird now. Punk's title run at this point should end at WM so the dastardly heel Punk finally gets his on the biggest stage, but now we're in this weird period where the title could possibly change hands multiple times from now til next March.

The TL;DR is: You pick people to be on your team. Your ranking in the league is based on how well you do vs. the other guys.

There's different ways they can be setup

1. The average performance of your team vs. the rest determines your ranking/point scoring for the night

2. you do weekly matchups vs. someone and the winner of the match is determined by who won which stat (Goals, assists, etc)

Greatest buildup ever for a WWE match. The buildup was a year in the making, patient, and done right. The match at WM 14 (or their inferno match, depending on your preference) is the best big man/big man (not saying much, I know) match the WWE has ever had.

I just got word that Triple H is still not satisfied with the response to his retirement, so WWE is buying airtime on USA Network for a 3 hour career retrospective of Paul Levesque.

I was so dissapointed there was no "nananana, nananana, hey, hey, hey, goodbye" chant though. The crowd was being sorta smarky in the beginning of the show, so I had good hopes they would ruin this fake retirement for Triple H.

But then they started chanting "Thank you hunner!" and I died a little inside.

I agree with Meltzer that even though the crowd was going along with it, it never felt genuine. It felt like the crowd was just giving Triple H what he wanted. When HBK and Flair retired, you felt the emotion. Hell, even Edge's retirement out of nowhere got real emotion.
